I always like to do a walking tour upon visiting a new city and this guide did not disappoint. We visited multiple locations around Cusco and learned about features that I otherwise may not have even noticed. The guide spoke great English and gave plenty of opportunity to ask questions. The group was very large and still it was always possible to hear and see what was being discussed. It was a great way to become accustomed to Cusco and learn a bit about the city’s history!

Great free walking tour! We did the one in Cusco with Elvis. He gave us a very interesting impression of the city, told a lot about the history and was very open and responsive to all questions. I highly recommend! Gracias, Elvis!

We took the Cusco 15:30 English walking tour, which covered many of the city highlights. Our guide Cesar was super knowledgeable, giving broad historic and cultural information, as well as many modern tips and tidbits, from shopping to food. We would highly recommend this tour!

I did free walking tours in Lima and Cusco, which were good, and decided to book through their web site a half day tour to Maras and Moray, which was also good , and then a Sacred Valley full day tour. It is a demanding 10 hour tour with a lot of walking up in the mountains and I admire the work of the guide. But our guide was not very professional, he would not always announce where we would go next and how much time it would take and where we could use bathrooms, I had to ask. He did not set any timeframes allowing one family to spend much more than reasonable time in a famous textile tienda while other passengers were already done and waiting. Because of that we came to a gorgeous site of Chinchero at dask (there wasn't even anybody to check the tickets!) Our tour was supposed to finish at 6:30 pm at Plaza the Armas, but we returned to Cusco at 7:15 pm and instead of bringing us closer to the Plaza, the guide concluded a tour near a restaurant of his choice to advertise it. But the most unacceptable thing was when he let three local boys get in our minibus and sing there for tips. While double masks is a requirement for traveling by bus, I did not want to see boys without any masks singing in my face. Yes, I understand the intention to help local community (as I understand the comissions from tiendas and restaurants), but not in this way at this time. Overall, nothing can really spoil the beauty and amazement of Inca sites, but a guide plays a big role in the whole experience.

Hello NYAnatolia, thansk fro the review.
We are glad you have joined our free walking tours both in Lima and Arequipa. Regarding the Sacred Valley tour, we followed the itinerary and as it is advertised on the web, some handicraft shops are visited to keep the price low otherwise a private tour is recommended, on the other hand, no one is obliged to buy anything at those shops, it is totally optional.
On the other hand, we apologize for the fact that our Tour Guide took a lot of time at those shops, that is definitely not part of the tour, we apologize for the fact that our Tour Guide also did not keep a good timing, we already spoke to him and we will enhance the tour to the sacred valley, you have our word for it.
All the best from Cusco

We did a tour of Sacsayhuaman with Elvis and he was fantastic. We highly recommend this tour with him. We went on a very wet and rainy day and although we (four of us) were all cold and wet, we still enjoyed it. It would be really great on a sunny day!

This tour was very informative and fun! The tour guide was very helpful and knowledgable about the area and the various history of the city. Definitely recommend at the start of your trip to get oriented and learn about other things you may want to explore during the rest of your stay.

Went on the 10am Cusco walking tour and it was great! Our guide Elvis had lots of knowledge and was open to chats/questions etc. The highlight for me was being brought to see the Alpacas and lamas that are being trained to help people with mental health conditions. Couldn't recommend it enough.

Hola jziegler1996, thansk fro the review.
We are glad you have joined our free walking tour of Cusco guided by Elvis "The King". As you experienced our tours are fully focused on history, we don't take our customers to ChocoMuseo or Bars, we do full history. The tourist attractions that we include during the walking tour are from the top shelf.
