My brother had used South Adventure Peru Tours when he brought my oldest son to Peru, so when I needed a tour company for my family trip (wife, 14-year old, twin 10-year olds), I first inquired here and looked no farther. We had a week in Peru, and had some pieces already booked (hotels, Machu Picchu, flights). Given my knowns,... More

We are a 20-people group and went on a 2-day tour to Machu with South Adventure. They are absolutely the best tour company I ever had: very knowledgable tour guide, nice shuttle service, great communication before and after the trip. They are your option in Peru - they even got us on the highly demanded dome-train the day before the... More

Third time back with Ruben and his company--- as usual, he delivered with 5-star service! We saw Cusco, the Sacred Valley and of course Machu Picchu. Everyone arrived promptly, our guide Romulo was fantastic, and the entire trip went off without a hitch. Anyone looking for a good experience, flexibility, and a good value (and I have done lots of... More

Our family had a fantastic week in Peru with South Adventure Peru Tours. They were very friendly and helpful and always punctual. They used excellent vans with safe drivers and bycicles in top conditions (new). The 3 star hotels they picked for us were above our expectations and the meals, including box lunches were delicious and abundant. Their guides spoke... More

The five of us booked the 2 day 1 night trail to Machu Picchu and it was a wonderful experience. On our way the guide Elui explained us in detail about the history of Inca. He also led the hike at a reasonable speed that was neither too demanding nor too slow. It was Chrismas Eve when we arrived at... More

During my recent trip to Cusco I booked three separate group tours through SAPT (half day Maras/Moray; full day Sacred Valley; and Rainbow Mountain trek) based on the excellent TripAdvisor reviews and was so happy I did so! Ruben was incredibly helpful when we came to the office to make the bookings in person, and explained in detail what would... More

My two daughters and I took a private half day tour of Cusco. Our guide was excellent. He let us custom our pick up time and also the amount of time we spent at all the sights. He also helped us negotiate for our walking sticks - which we needed for a later trek to Ausangate Mountain. Our guide was... More

Dear Jill,

I can not imagine how you can post this negative recview against our company , I offered you the tour in a PRIVATE tour and you did not agree to pay $ 440 for a fully private service money and you said the tour was terrible and disappointed ?

I never pressure you to buy the tour. I told you go think about our services and if you if you would like , you can come back but after many hours, you returned to reserve the tour at the last minute .

I told them very clearly that the price paid was shared with bilingual guide group and they said there was no problem because you did not agree to pay $ 440 for a fully private service.

The next day, our staff was waiting for you till 1:00 AM in the train station of Cusco to go to the hotel because there were problems with the train .

Me , my family and team , work hard to keep up our small family business providing the personalized and private tours to all our customers and making their dreams come true.

To clarify about our tours , Our company works with professional guides ( Graduated in the best university of Cusco called, San Antonio Abad del Cusco ) We pay them more than

other companies because they are professional and not just training guides. Our cars are clean and really comfortable.

Basically the PRIVATE tours are based in a personalized service with English speaking guides ( according to languages required ) and really comfortable transport and also we will provide you oxygen and medication for the high altitude sickness if is necessary.

Please, If you think that you paid too much , let me know how can I refund your money of 50% and remove this negative review against our company as you are not being honest with us and we are not optioned to money

Thank you so much
