Best massage in Cusco
Jan 2019 • Solo
I am staying at an Airbnb close to the hotel Cartagena. Since the water pressure at my Airbnb wasn’t strong enough to wash my hair, I booked a massage in order to use the spa facilities so that I could take a proper shower. I normally don’t enjoy massages that much, but this particular massage was absolutely amazing. I felt very comfortable and well taken care of by the staff. I booked a second massage after completing the Inca Trail and I was lucky enough to get the same masseuse. I can easily say that I have never had a better massage and I highly recommend this place.

Best massage! (Only review of the spa, didn’t stay at hotel)
Dec 2018 • Friends
We booked two massages, which included the use of the spa, last minute. The team at Qoya were incredibly helpful and when we arrived we were looked after with great care. Relaxing in the spa for the afternoon was just what we needed after a packed schedule. We then enjoyed 90 minute hot stone massages which my mother and I both agreed were the best we’ve ever had! Willy and Olga were our therapists and could not recommend them enough for a revitalising afternoon in Cusco.

Such a beautiful hotel........
May 2017 • Couples
This hotel is one the most amazing & beautiful place's I have ever stayed at. The staff were so friendly & helpful & made us feel very welcome. The location is perfect within walking distance to everything but situated so it is not too noisy. The room was extremely comfortable & the restaurant food & service were of the highest standard. I would not stay anywhere else in Cusco when I revisit. Big call out to Fernando!!

Visit to Spa
We recently visited the Spa at hotel Casa Cartagena. All I can say is don't bother. The facilities are poor, only one hot pool that they call a hydro pool and one steam room.
The steam room was cold the entire time we were there. We thought it would warm up when we had our treatments but when came down we discovered it had been switched off so was freezing cold again.
However the biggest disappointment of this spa was that we received the complete wrong treatments!
We got the feeling that this hotel and spa is just trying to rinse tourist for as much money as possible and aren't to bothered about providing the quality you are paying for with their high prices.

This review is for the spa only as we didn't stay in the hotel
We both had manicures and scalp massages- I had one of the best scalp massages ever. Excellent service. Would def go back when we return. Wish I had gotten more things done. Ana did my massage. I would def rec her if you are looking to have a massage.

Very relaxing massage
Jul 2014 • Friends
After getting back from Machu Picchu and hardly being able to walk, the hydromassage pool was just what we needed to soothe our sore muscles. The staff here is very friendly and brought us juices while we were soaking in the pool. The massage was really good, I would say worth the approximately $100.

Only negative I would note is that the showers didn't drain well and I felt I had to rush through my shower to make sure I didn't flood the place. Other than that, everything was lovely.

Pay for the best, get the best

Firstly, I would not recommend this spa to anyone who would hesitate to pay around $100 for massage. The spa is part of a luxury hotel where the rooms are $350 and up per night so you are not going to get a 30 sol massage here. However, if you are not price sensitive this place is absolutely fantastic.

From the moment I arrived, the service was absolutely top noch - flawless in fact. I was escorted to the spa personally by someone at the front desk and similarly escorted whenever I needed to go anywhere. To begin with, I used their lovely jacuzzi and rock cave steam room and had a lounger set up for me personally where I was bought complimentary drinks.

The massage was in the top 5-10% of massages I have ever received with a wonderful therapist.

Once I finished my massage, I as again offered tea by the jacuzzi, which they surrounded with lit candles just for me. I felt like I was king for a day. This was followed by a shower with really nice l'occitaine products.

Overall a fantastic experience but only for people not on a tight budget because you could get 10 massages for the same price elsewhere. If you want to splurge, go for it!
