Best place in Cusco for a cozy catch up & buy a traditional hand craft gift
Feb 2020
Aulaa is the best place to go in Cusco. Everything, from the smallest details, to the quality of the products carefully selected and handcrafted with an unique story behind it, to the cozy ambiance, to the excellent drinks and finally to the warm welcome of one of the owner, Sonya, is just perfect. The project behind it is beautiful and supports local communities and.. cherry on the cake.. created and led by two empowered young women! I'm a big fan!

Thank you so, so much Olga for this incredible kindness and support! It's such a joy to be able to welcome everyone into our space, and we're so gratified that it's a place people want to spend their time. Always, always welcome for a coffee and a chat! xx

An absolute "must visit" in Cusco!
Feb 2020
I could not be more thrilled to have a space - beautiful, welcoming, full of culture and life - like Aulita in Cusco! There truly is no other boutique & cafe with the same vision, social and cultural commitment in the city. I'm looking forward to many more (and frequent, I'm sure) visits to browse their expertly curated collection of artisan products and enjoy a delicious bite. Be warned that the drink & wine selection is brilliant. You might end up staying quite a bit later than anticipated!

It was such a huge pleasure to finally open up Aulita to Cusco, and we are incredibly grateful for your support and incredible kindness! We've worked hard to create a space that's open to locals and visitors alike to stop in for a coffee and browse our collection. And as wine and cocktail lovers, we have to agree with you -- our drinks menu is dangerous! Abrazos from Aulita, visit us any time xo

Hidden gem with authentic goods!
Nov 2018 • Friends
This store is amazing! I discovered it as I was exploring the San Blas neighborhood--it's inside a hotel, but just ask at reception, and they'll show you where it is. They have a great selection of beautiful products from all over Peru, which was a nice break from all the similar things I saw throughout Cusco! Their prices are very fair, especially for the quality. Highly recommend!

Beautiful shop supporting local artisans
Dec 2018 • Solo
This little shop has a great variety of handmade products from all over Peru. The things they sell from the Cusco area are higher quality than you can find at most of the stores, and they also have baskets, rugs, candles, ceramics and other things from other regions of Peru. Noemi helped me with my purchases and was very knowledgeable about all the artisans and where the products come from. Highly recommend!

Best spot for authentic goods
Dec 2018 • Friends
This store is a perfect place to find a piece of Peru to take home with you. I loved hearing the stories behind the products - It was a learning experience as well as a shopping one. I especially love the textile work and the candles. Can't beat the cozy and the colorful.
Hope I can return one day!

Cute shop -- best souvenirs and gifts!
Dec 2018 • Couples
This shop had exactly the sorts of cute items I was hoping to bring home for friends and family from my trip to Cusco. Scarves, candles, adorable wall looms, etc -- all made from artisans around the country. As a bonus, all the stuff is fair trade and the store seems to take its mission really seriously. Plus, the shop has a really cool vibe. Everyone loved their gifts, and I have lots of tokens to remember my trip by. Definitely stop in!

Perfect place to buy all your souvenirs and gifts!
Dec 2018 • Solo
I was so happy to have stumbled upon Aula Artesana during my time in Cusco. It has amazing hand-made products from all over Peru, ranging from bowls to bags to jewelry to chocolate to scarves...honestly, the list goes on and on. It was the perfect place to buy fair trade gifts for my friends and family back home, and they work directly with the people making the crafts, so you feel great about the purchase and also have a story to tell when you gift the products! The store clerk was extremely helpful in helping choose a gift when I was torn, and just fun to chat with while browsing. The most important part for me is that they have totally different souvenirs from anything you see on the street, so you can really find the perfect gift for yourself or those back home.
