We visited peru as a couple from Australia in Dec 2019.
Decided that we only wanted a private tour during our 17 days visit. Contacted Edwin from peru private tours via email and honestly no regrets. He organised all the tours in every city very well. The guides and drivers used by his company are Excellent, Punctual, Polite and knowledgeable. Edwin kept in touch with us in every city via WhatsApp and we were able to reach him at anytime. We recommend his company to anyone.

Awesome rainbow mountain

It was an awesome day at rainbow mountain. Our guide nayda was simply great. She made sure everyone was doing alright with the altitude & offered us coca tea once we reach the top. Love that we had a late departure. No need to wake up early and by the time we reach the top there were only about 10 other people. Way way less crowded than getting an early tour. Our driver effren was also great and we felt very safe the way he drives those twist and turns in the mountains. Highly recommended.

Grat afternoon tour with Frank and his driver Ernesto

Favorite part was getting to the top. We liked that our guide Frank was patient did nor rush us let us go at our pace, and was geniously caring and knowledgeable. Ernesto was our driver and expertly navigated steep mountain road.We highly recommend this late start tour with Frank and Ernesto his driver. This late morning tour was great. We came as other tours were leaving and were pretty much the last ones leaving. And not a big crowd at the top. A bit lonely at the lunch but all in all great tour

Textile Workshop in the Sacred Valley

We had an amazing day visiting with Edwin’s family in the Sacred Valley on a personal tour. We were welcomed with flower confetti on our heads and warm hugs. Edwin did a great job translating as we are not fluent in Spanish. We learned about the Inca textile traditions and how Edwin's family is trying to restore these traditions. We learned how to spin the alpaca wool into yarn, we foraged for leaves to dye the yarn, dyed the wool and how to Weave a textile from beginning to end. Martina and Ruth were very patient when teaching us. Edwin's father made us a delicious lunch and we sat and got to know each other better. When our textiles were complete, we had the honor of dressing up in the traditional cusqueña outfit. Edwin’s brother played music and we all danced together! It was an amazing experience to emerge ourselves into the Peruvian culture by hanging out with the family and learning about their day to day activities. The family was so kind and welcoming. This was an experience we will never forget!

Amazing trip to Palcoyo Mountain

What an amazing day. Very spontaneously we planned a full day tour to Palcoyo Mountain, the so called alternative rainbow mountain. Man, were we lucky. Everything was really professional from the initial contact to getting back to our hotel.
We were picked up in the morning at 7am, which is at least two hours later than most (or all) of the other tours start. The effects of this? Additional sleep and we bet the crowds. When we arrived at the place, most other tours already left or were about to leave, so the place felt almost private. Our driver Hugo and our guide Nayda did such a good job. They were always acting professionally and at the same time bringing in their amazing personality, knowledge and humor.
We experienced a wonderful day, including pick up at the hotel, snacks in the morning, a great time at the Palcoyo, including a part of the hike with llama and alpaca, a great lunch afterwards and a safe transfer back to the hotel. My full recommendation!!!

Wonderful trip and guide....

Visitn Peru was an amazing experience. In addition to all the beautiful natural views, local traditions, foods, our guides' hospitality was top notch. I would say that is what made this experience very memorable to us. We travlled with a party of 4 adults and 4 kids under 10. Edwin and team made sure that we were well taken care of from the moment we set foot in Cusco. Special shout out to Nadiya, whom bought little gifts for all children for answering her trivia :) . She is an amazing guide, very hospitable and always helpful. Thanks also to Ronald and Edwin, without whom our trip would not be the same. I would definitely recommend Peru Private Tours to my friends and family.

We really enjoyed our trip with Peru Private Tours. We booked the tour 2 days / 1 night Sacsayhuaman, Valle Sagrado with Machupichu, and was amazing! From the beginning to the end. Judith, the reservation manager, was very helpful and always was very pending of us. Even she met us in our hotel in Cusco to give us a personal briefing of the tour. The first day that we visited Sacsayhuaman/ Valle Sagrado was spectacular, and we were very happy and grateful for our tour guide Henry and our driver Pedro. We loved the time with them. Our second day, we visited Machupichu, and we were specheeless with this trip, and our tour guide Joel, it was the icing on the cake! We are more than happy with this tour operator. We recommend them 100%. Also, we will definitely want to come back to Cusco and, of course, coordinate all our plans with them.

Amazing breath taking views!

This was an amazing trip. My tour guide Frank came well prepared with snacks and drinks for me, including the flower water mix that helped me hike the steep areas of the mountain. We took the horse during our ascend. Frank was patient and kind. A special seafood lunch was provided and it was yum. Highly recommend this tour and ask for Frank.

Rainbow Mountain in the Afternoon

Fantastic trip! You start a bit later than all the other tours (~8am), so when we arrived there were only a few people at the top. You basically have the Rainbow Mountain to yourself. Our guide Frank was amazing as well! Very patient and relaxed.
Just make sure to bring warm clothes and a jacket, at the top it’s cold and the wind was quite strong. But it’s absolutely worth it. It’s one of the most beautiful landscapes I‘ve ever seen. Not only Vinicunca but the entire region.
I would recommend this tour to everyone who wants to see Rainbow Mountain.

Best hike so far!

The tour as a whole was very good! Vinicunca is one of the most beautiful places I've ever visited, and the feeling of having managed to conquer a 5km high mountain was really cool too.

But all of this was especially possible because of our guide, Ronald, a very good person, he gave us all the support and information we needed and was super understanding! I highly recommend this guide, the tour would not have been the same without it!
