We had an incredible experience on our 6D/5N Manu Biosphere Reserve Tour with Juan Carlos as our guide! He pointed out many animals identified by sight and even sound - we saw so many birds, monkeys, bugs, and even a capybara and a group of peccaries! In addition to being an expert wildlife guide, Juan Carlos was always well prepared, on time, and stuck to a clearly communicated, well made itinerary. While I wouldn’t recommend going deep into Manu if you’re afraid of spiders like me (the lodges are not as bug proof as you might think!!), Juan Carlos with Peru Mysteries was an incredible guide, and I highly recommend him for any adventure booked with him in Peru.

The trip was amazing. Juan Carlos, the guide, was a wealth of knowledge about the Peruvian Rainforest & Manu national park. Him, along with the cook and boat driver, were all very friendly and accommodating at every step of the trip. We saw so many incredible sights, enjoyed time away from modernity in the national park, and thoroughly enjoyed this trip. I would absolutely recommend anyone who would like to see Peru and Manu national park to sign up for this trip.

Juan Carlos is the best guide you can find. I didn’t realize how lucky I was until afterwards. He is extraordinarily knowledgeable of the jungle. Make sure to ask about his stories. He’s a great story teller and I sat on edge the whole time listening. I will definitely go on another trip with him, but much longer this time. He’s the best!

Insightful experience in various ecosystems that compose Manu national park. Thsnks to our guide, Juan Carlos, we were able to see many creatures, big and small, learned about the many wonders of the forests at different altitudes. An unforgettable trip.

Amazing time in the Amazon! We did the 4 day/3 night which was the perfect amount of time. Saw Monkeys, tons of birds, a Tapir, snakes, Tarantulas and loads more. Incredible scenery and highlights included swimming in the basin being carried downsteam (with a life jacket), the night walk and Hot springs. Our guide Juan Carlos was so lovely and incredibly knowledgeable, he clearly loves what he does. The food was a lot better than we were expecting. Very generous portions and pretty healthy too. I would highly reccomend this tour and Juan in particular 😊

Juan Carlos organized the entire trip for us, from Cusco to Machu Pichu. We spent beautiful days with him and everything was great. We can advise Juan Carlos as a good guide. Greetings Werner Wyss

Juan Carlos was very nice and helpful he helped me carry my bags and when I fell he stopped and made sure I was okay, he is very funny and gave a feeling of a big brother I really recommend doing the trip with him! We did a 2 days trip to Machu Picchu including a bike ride, 4 omegas and a 3 hours walk to the city of Machu Picchu and the next day we took the bus to see the actual Machu Picchu. I recommend! :)

Lovely family run business in Cusco. Juan Carlos and Maribel were incredibly helpful throughout the process in giving us information about the ceremony, and are kind enough to open up their home for it as well which made it feel very safe. The shaman put us at ease and was a great guide through the ceremony. I would definitely recommend as for the price we got a very tailored service

We went on a 4 day 3 night trip to Manu national park with Juan Carlos as our guide. I would definetely recommend him. He spotted so many animals which would otherwise be invisible to me and he made sure we had the best spots when he knew other groups would be there as well.

The most amazing experience abroad I’ve ever had. The days in the forest were absolutely breathtaking filled with beautiful landscape and wildlife. What made this trip the best was our Juan Carlos and his crew. He took the time to explain everything and anything we found interesting and was able to give us an unforgettable time. 10/10 will recommend this to anyone looking for a once in a lifetime experience
