Our trip to Peru has been exceptional! Our expectations and experience have been above and beyond. We planned our full itinerary from start to finished with Venturia tours and we are so glad we did. Our trip consisted of Lima, Cusco, the Sacred Valley, Chincherro, Moras and Moray, Machu Picchu and Rainbow Mountain. Ivon was in charge of our itinerary and she did a wonderful job from modifying our plans as needed to making suggestions to enhance our experience. My husband and I usually prefer to make our own plans but we are so glad we booked with Venturia because unlike other travel companies or tours, they are flexible and willing to work with you on an individual basis. We opted to do private tours which we are glad we did as we like to move at our own pace however there are options for groups as well. Our tour guide Carlos was very knowledgeable, friendly and a fantastic photographer who captured moments that we will never forget. We compared various tours and pricing and for what we paid, we got our moneys worth! Venturia works directly with Marriott and were able to offer us affordable pricing. If you have status with Marriott, you will also receive a discount for the tours when booking with Venturia. Tambo del Inka hotel in Sacred Valley is a must try! There is a train station specifically for this hotel that takes you directly to Machu Picchu where your guide will meet you. One of the best meals we had was during our Machu Picchu tour which was included in our booking. Thank you Venturia especially to Ivón and Carlos for making our trip to Peru an unforgettable one!

My wife and I finally decided to visit Cusco, we got to Venturia through “Tambo del Inca” hotel (highly recommended). From day 1 we were warmly received and guided through the spectacular sceneries that the beautiful Cusco offers.
Our designated guiding team, lead by Nick Santander brought, hands downs the best added value. He was so friendly and knowledgeable, that through every turn and twist, shared interesting facts about the history, culture, people, landscapes and wonders of this beautiful area.
Walking through Machu Picchu (old peak) citadel was amazing (truly an understatement), Pisac, Ollantaytambo, Moray & Maras will leave you mesmerized
I absolutely recommend their service. Ana Cecilia (Venturia) designed a great itinerary so we could enjoy every minute of our stay.
Great work!

We booked a tour with Venturia that included a private car ride, train, bus, and tour guide through Machu Picchu. Ruben, our guide through the citadel was fantastic! He gave us accurate time to hike up one of the peaks and through the citadel. He was incredibly informative while also keeping the guide light hearted and fun. His knowledge of the history was thorough, and he even doubles as an excellent photographer and videographer! I would highly recommend Ruben Velazco for the Machu Picchu or any other tour in the area!

Señor Edson, our Venturia tour guide, made our visit to the Sacred Valley for our Honeymoon / Luna de Miel wonderful. We booked two separate private tours on consecutive days through the Venturia desk at the Tambo del Inka Hotel. The first day we went to Moray, Maras, and Ollantaytambo with Edson. By luck, we had Edson again on our second day for our Machu Picchu tour. Edson was exceptionally knowledgeable, personable, attentive, and a great photographer. We really felt like he was a friend by the end the two days. Muy excelente.
Gabriela from the Venturia desk was also excellent, as was Joel, our driver on our first day. Venturia seemed to be a really good company, and we highly recommend it for private tours from Tambo del inka and any hotels they serve.

We had an amazing experience booking our trip to Cusco, Machu Picchu, Maras, Moray, Ollantaytambo, pikillacta, tipon, andahaylillas, pusaq, etc. with Venturia. Our trip coordinator Ivonne was increíble, she helped us put the whole trip together and was very informative and attentive before and during our trip making sure that our trip was perfect. Our tour guide who is now also our friend, Ruben Dario was fantastic. We immediately clicked when we met him. We spent the 5 days with him being our tour guide to the various arqueological sites and around Cusco. He made sure that our trip was amazing and that we got the most of our our trip.. he was also extremely knowledgeable of the history behind all places and put it in fun terms for my son to remain engaged while having fun! Lastly our driver Rimber was great too. He was our dedicated driver for our whole week and did a fantastic job. His car was perfectly clean every day, so we named him “Rimber clean” which he enjoyed. We stayed at Palacio del Inka, Tambo del Inka and also at the JW Marriott during our trip. All three hotels were amazing. The staff were fantastic and incredibly friendly. We can’t wait to come back and we are 100% sure we would book our trip through Venturia and will request Ruben Dario as our guide and Rimber as our driver!

My boyfriend and I visited Peru for 9 days and split time between Sacred Valley, Cusco, and Lima. We booked three Venturia tours while we were in Sacred Valley and Cusco: Llama Trek, Machu Picchu, and a city and ruins tour of Cusco. Booking with Venturia was seamless and they were so accommodating to us. The tours include door to door transportation to and from the activities so they take all the stress of logistics out of the equation and only leave room for you to enjoy the activity! Everyone we met from Venturia was so amazing and friendly, from the concierge desk, to the drivers, to the tour guides.
During our trip to Sacred Valley there were protests going on that hindered us from taking our trip to Machu Picchu on the scheduled day. However, Venturia consistently kept us in the loop about when it would be safe to leave our hotel in Sacred Valley and travel to Cusco and also rearranged our Machu Picchu tour for the next day to leave from Cusco instead of SV. They also coordinated transportation from SV to Cusco and comped us for the inconvenience. At one point during the journey we became stuck between two road blocks caused by the protests, but our driver found an alternate route and made sure we got to Cusco safely.
Carlos was our guide in Machu Picchu and he was absolutely incredible. His English is perfect and he is beyond knowledgeable about so many subjects, not just the Inca Empire. We had so many interesting conversations with him during our tour and the lunch afterwards. Also Carlos has taken up photography as a hobby and wants to pursue it when he retires from touring, so he is an INCREDIBLE photographer and will capture the most amazing images for you! We liked him so much that we specially requested him to create a custom tour of Cusco for us the next day. Due to the rearranging of our Machu Picchu tour, we only had a few hours to tour Cusco before our flight. Carlos came with snacks and our tour ended with our transportation to the airport.
I do not have enough good things to say about our experience with Venturia. Highly recommend you use them if you are traveling to Peru! They take all the fuss out of traveling, logistics, and enable you to really sit back, relax, and enjoy such a beautiful and unique place.

Venturia travel is an amazing company to work with, they were able to accommodate all my needs in private tours. They sent a digital brochure, picked our tours, and sent a professional quote with all the details of our vacation plans. We met with the Venturia agent at our hotel, she gave us all our documents and all the details of our upcoming tours. We booked Cusco city tour, 4ruins tour, Machu Picchu tour, sacred valley tour and transportation from Sacred Valley to Puerto Maldonado. The highlight of our trip was having Carlos as our tour guide for all of our excursions. Carlos was personable, knowledgeable and was such an amazing person. Carlos truly felt like a friend that we have known for a long time and was part of our vacation and will be part of our memories of a lifetime. All of our tours were amazing, not one detail was missed. If coming to Cusco and Sacred Valley don’t hesitate to book with Ventoria travel and hopefully you will be as lucky as we were to have Carlos as your tour guide. Thank you John and Erick from Chicago

Booked four different experiences with Venturia from the Tambo Del Inka hotel and all were absolutely amazing. Had several tour guides but Jimmy and Nick really stood out - both were extremely personal, friendly and super knowledgable. You could really tell how much they loved and wanted to share the culture and history of the sites we visited. They also listened to us and made sure they covered the things we absolutely wanted to see and at a speed we were comfortable with. And of course, have to mention Ivan at the front desk. She was there at the beginning of every day to make sure we got away and had everything we needed - hats, bug spray, etc. And she was always there when we returned to make sure we enjoyed ourselves and to make sure we were ready for the next experience. Super friendly and professional.

Thanks to Venturia for taking care of my day trip to Machu Picchu! We booked it through our Hotel Palacio Del Inka! Special shoutout to Venturia team Yudith and tour guide John, also Jared from Perurail! On our return journey, Perurail was delayed from 4.15PM to 6PM, it was a busy saturday evening. We decided to board another earlier train back however it does not stop at our original station - Poroy Cusco. Jared from Perurail was so kind to help call Venturia's Yudith. Yudith immediately had the driver arranged to pick us up from another train station, one and half hour away from the original train station. My husband and I are so grateful for the Venturia Team for acting on it so quickly and taking care of the whole trip so we get to enjoy Machu Picchu. Yudith quick responses, sharing all the details such as having hotel to prepare box breakfast, John's attention to details and knowledge on Machu Picchu history made it a wonderful experience for us! Definitely do not hesitate to book from Venturia to get the best out of your Machu Picchu trip! Thank you Thank you Venturia!

We did two tours with Venturia: Machu Picchu and the Sacred Valley. Yudith from Palacio del Inka, where we stayed, arranged everything for us. She did an amazing job and it was so nice not to stress about the logistics ourselves.
Our Machu Picchu tour was with Carlos, who was fantastic! He knew so much about Incan history and gave us fascinating insights about many aspects of the ruins. He also had a great sense of humor and an even better eye for photography. We truly have never had such amazing photos from any of our trips. Thank you, Carlos! We absolutely recommend a tour with him.
Our Sacred Valley tour the next day was with Edson, who was similarly fantastic and absolutely recommend a tour with him. He rode with us in the car, which was nice because he gave us so many helpful and interesting facts about various things we drove past. Our driver was wonderful as well! In addition to the Sacred Valley, we got to stop at an alpaca farm and had the most incredible lunch at the Inkaterra restaurant with stunning views. We really appreciated that Edson emphasized that it was our tour, and that we were free to make more or fewer stops as we wanted.
Amazing service, smart and friendly guides, and a seamless experience overall. Can't recommend enough!

How much is a one day trip from cusco to machu picchu?
Written April 30, 2019
Really Important: From January through April, the train to Machu Picchu does NOT start in Cusco. If you book tickets through PeruRail during this time period, you first must board a bus at Wanchaq Station in Cusco, which will then take you to Ollantaytambo.
From there, the train will take you to Aguas Calientes train station (the closest train station to Machu Picchu). This is known as a “bimodal service” with PeruRail.
Another option- Super high end is from Tambo Del InKa train to and from the resort twice a day. This was the option we chose and it was absolutely amazing and no hassle of changing vehicles. The cost was about $600 for the day per person but it is like the Orient Express for the Andes. This amount varies by season and demand so best to check with Peru Rail with your exact dates.
