We wished to see native birds of Peru for a day. Our guide Leonardo took us to Malaga Pass. We spent the day hiking down that contained unique habitats and endemic bird species. We saw over thirty species that day. Leonardo was so knowledgeable. He even carried a large scope for viewing! He created such a memorable day for my daughter and I! We had a lovely lunch that showcased traditional foods and then ended the day at Ensifera, a hummingbird sanctuary in the Sacred Valley. We would highly recommend Munaycha if you are looking to experience the natural beauty of Peru!

Duilio and the Munaycha team really made our group's experience of Cusco unforgettable. There were so many personal touches, making sure all felt cared for as we kayaked in a lake, hiked to see the Inca ruins, visited markets, rode our bicycles, traveled by car or train, enjoyed delicious organic meals at beautiful, carefully selected venues. They gave us the perfect mix of adventure and support, making sure all equipment is in top condition, providing great snacks and plenty of fluids during trips, choosing knowledgeable guides and being always responsive and flexible to the needs of the group.
I will continue to recommend Munaycha to my friends and family- they made our trip a wonderfully memorable one!!

What a brilliant time my daughter and I had exploring on Mountain bikes with our fantastic guide Italio (apologies if the spelling is wrong). To say the scenery and sights along the way were amazing would be an understatement. All this with the excitement of biking along Inca and pre Inca trails under expert guidance on good quality bikes. An opportunity not to be missed. If we had the time I’d be knocking on the door for a kayaking adventure to Titicaca without a shadow of a doubt.

My partner and I wanted to do the classic Inca trail in Peru but there were no openings for our timing. As an alternative we hired Munaycha who provided a guide, Pepe, 4 helpers including a certified chef and 5 mules. It was an extraordinary experience. The landscape was breathtaking with soaring mountains, rivers and glaciers. The Inca ruins at Choquequirao and elsewhere were amazing. The team we were with couldn't have been more efficient and helpful. Finally, Pepe was an incredible guide. He continually pointed out the flora and fauna of the region and had a very positive attitude. The trek was not easy. The total cumulative ascent and descent was over 12,000 meters during the 8 days. It was physically demanding. I highly recommend using Munaycha and doing this trek. It was the highlight of our time in Peru.

We did the 8 hour Little Cusco hike with Duilio and had a truly memorable experience. The hike was fantastic, the food provided was superb, and Duilio's excitement and passion made it all the better. Highly recommended.

I was a solo traveler and Dulio is the only one that accommodated me for my mountain biking but I was not disappointed and was so glad that I chose Munaycha for mountain biking. My guide Rulio was so nice and so attentive and we just had a blast riding down from the top of the mountain to the Sacred Valley where we picnicked. I will not forget this experience. Just had a great time!

This is one of the best experiences we have ever had. The setting was amazing! The picnic at the bank of the lake was exquisite. Smooth and peaceful lake were adults and children can relax and play. Wild life spotting. Kayaking. Duilio and his staff were very friendly and professional. Great service. Would do it again a thousand times!

This was our second adventure with Duilio and Munaycha. In 2012 his company took my son mountain biking (be warned, mountain biking in Peru is not for the faint of heart), took us to Moray and Maras as well as some other wonderful outings. His staff was unfailingly gracious, competent and the food was excellent! So for my son's high school graduation we did Salcantay to Machu Picchu and had a wonderful experience. There are less expensive alternatives (and more expensive) but safety is very important to me. Salcantay is harder than the Inca Trail, in my opinion, and Duilio's staff was excellent. The tents were comfortable, food terrific, our guide was knowledgeable and able to assess the strengths and weaknesses of a group ages 18-56. The zip lining, which I had not looked forward to, was a blast!
In reality, Machu Picchu was almost anticlimactic after the sights and sounds of the hike we had just done. I would gladly go with Duilio's company again. Since I work in Peru on occasion, I'm sure I will.
