About Valentin's Pachamama Journeys
Valentin's Pachamama Journeys is a Peruvian based tour company that offers personalized, unique tours of Cusco, the Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu. Our tours are designed to go places that other tour groups don't go, giving you opportunities to interact with locals and see how life is lived by the people of Cusco and the Sacred Valley. The goal of the company is to showcase the culture and beauty of the Sacred Valley of Peru while honoring mother earth (Pachamama). We focus on creating interesting and unique tours with experiences that connect you to the local people and landscape. Many of these tours involve visits to community markets, cooking lessons from local people, or lunches and tours of Sacred Valley farms. We are proud to offer healthy and organic Peruvian meals, made by local chefs with menus using food that is fresh from the fields or local markets. In order to have the best experience and understanding of Peruvian history and culture, we strongly recommend that you spend between 4 and 7 days learning and enjoying with us. We offer itineraries from 2 to 7 days and any of the shorter tours can be combined based on your interests. One of our specialties are longer tours for large yoga groups and we can personally work with your group to customize your itinerary. Another unique aspect of our company is that your guides may perform spiritual ceremonies that honor Pachamama during many of the tours channeling the energy of mother nature in the spectacular scenery of the Inca lands . Valentin's Pachamama Journeys is strongly committed to supporting local people and economies and works with along with a US based foundation on social projects. We can incorporate visits to some of the schools that we sponsor into your tours.

During these many months of CoVid-19, I've often looked back at some of my most meaningful travel moments... The inability to freely move as far and wide as I once would-- has created space and time for me to look at life's experiences through a different lens. I first met Valentin and his group during a yoga retreat in April 2018. They took our group everywhere in the Sacred Valley- Cusco, Machu Picchu, even creating opportunities for smaller groups who wanted to venture out (we did cooking classes, Rainbow Mountain, the salt mines... on and on- never having to worry about planning anything ourselves - or fearful that the experience might somehow be subpar.) This team is so incredibly knowledgable, accommodating, and hardworking. Every task is done cloaked in loving-kindness. They are trustworthy and fluent in English, Spanish & Quechua. I hope that once you can travel (or if you currently are traveling) you select Valentin's Pachamama Journeys to lead the way. You will be so grateful for the rich and colorful experience they provide, as I am. Blessings, and may we soon return to breathtaking Peru. Namaste.

Valentin and co were are guides on our International Yoga trip to the Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu. The trip itself was a once in a lifetime experience but was made even better by our guides. Their local knowledge, storytelling and professionalism enhanced the trip, they arrived every day with a smile and felt like family when we had to leave!

We went to Salt Mines and it was something out of this world! Breathtaking colors, platforms, just magical atmosphere like we were on a different planet. Valentine and crew gave us fantastic tour and explained to us the whole process of extraction of the precious salt. At the end of the tour we could buy dark chocolate with salt and our group bought it all!!

This trip was amazing and I give a lot of credit to Valentin and his team! Through out the tour Valentin was very engaged with the group, light hearted, knowledgeable, always had an answer to our questions, funny, overall just an absolute delight to have them guide us. Really enhanced each experience at the sites and throughout the tour. Peru and Sacred Valley are amazing in their own right, but to have Valentin guide our tour, really made our trip! Can't wait to go back and will definitely be booking a tour with this team again! Thank you Valentin and your team for everything!!
