About Valentin's Pachamama Journeys
Valentin's Pachamama Journeys is a Peruvian based tour company that offers personalized, unique tours of Cusco, the Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu. Our tours are designed to go places that other tour groups don't go, giving you opportunities to interact with locals and see how life is lived by the people of Cusco and the Sacred Valley. The goal of the company is to showcase the culture and beauty of the Sacred Valley of Peru while honoring mother earth (Pachamama). We focus on creating interesting and unique tours with experiences that connect you to the local people and landscape. Many of these tours involve visits to community markets, cooking lessons from local people, or lunches and tours of Sacred Valley farms. We are proud to offer healthy and organic Peruvian meals, made by local chefs with menus using food that is fresh from the fields or local markets. In order to have the best experience and understanding of Peruvian history and culture, we strongly recommend that you spend between 4 and 7 days learning and enjoying with us. We offer itineraries from 2 to 7 days and any of the shorter tours can be combined based on your interests. One of our specialties are longer tours for large yoga groups and we can personally work with your group to customize your itinerary. Another unique aspect of our company is that your guides may perform spiritual ceremonies that honor Pachamama during many of the tours channeling the energy of mother nature in the spectacular scenery of the Inca lands . Valentin's Pachamama Journeys is strongly committed to supporting local people and economies and works with along with a US based foundation on social projects. We can incorporate visits to some of the schools that we sponsor into your tours.

Visiting Peru and the sacred lands has been the trip of a lifetime. Spending time with Valentin and his son Kenny, made it that much better. They are both so knowledgeable about the country and it's roots. Valentin grew up in the area and still lives there on a mountain farm, getting know the details of real-life Peru and how it's like to live in this area was amazing. The tours are super flexible, which is soooo great when visiting another country. There are times you may want to spend more or less time at a destination, it was always ok to move around at our own pace. I highly recommend to visit the country side and the school that is being built, it truly was amazing to share human experiences with all the children and their families. Valentin and Kenny are amazing humans, so thankful to have met them both and spend all this time with them and learning about the local cultures. Peru is amazing, spent 10 days... I'll be back - soooo much to see and do. Magical lands for sure. Peace and Love, Alex V.

Our evening was just as described on the promotion for this tour. It is a good excursion, whether you are new to town and need to take it easy on your first few days, or if you’ve already been here a short while, like us. My teenage daughter and I had a wonderful, casual and informative evening with our guide, Ernesto. He was very attentive and thoughtful. And he spoke English very well. Thank you to Ernesto and the team from Valentin’s Pachamama Journeys for your attention to detail from beginning to end!

We completed this tour in May 2022 for our honeymoon, the 4 day Inca Trail trek private tour to Machu Pichu. I couldn't recommend this trip more. Our guide, Orlando, was amazingly knowledgable and gave us a great in depth insight to the history of the trail and the Inca heritage. His knowledge was second to none. The whole trip was so well organised, our Camp chef and porters were also amazing, the food cooked on the side of a mountain on a camping stove is some of the best meals i've ever had, we certainly never went hungry for the 4 days. The porters were amazing at setting up camp and making our trip so memorable. If you are thinking of doing the Inca Trail I would highly recommend using this company, and opting for the private trek, Orlando's timings to set off etc were that good, for long periods of time we felt like we had the trail to ourselves despite another 350 people starting the trek on the same day. Organisation of this trip was amazing, and the communication throughout made the whole booking process a doddle. There was a slight mix up with our start date, and the day our pass had been issues for meaning we needs to tweak our itinerary, Valentin was amazing and completed all the necessary phones calls and booking changes to ensure this was a smooth process, we couldn't be more thankful.

This was a wonderful full day tour exploring the ruins that surround Cusco. Our guide Simon was very knowledgable. He provided lots of history of the Inka empire that engaged the whole family. The tour also took us to the Cathedral and the San Pedro Market. Our driver Daniel was punctual, fun and also provided information of the places that we visited.
