Really really great experience! I wasn’t sure what this would be like at all. Originally I wanted to do a cooking class but the one I wanted wasn’t available on the weekend so stumbled upon this place. I was partly curious, and thought it would be something a little different, besides obviously loving chocolate too! It completely changes your view on chocolate, either for the better or worse and is a super fun and interactive class. The teacher is passionate, engaging, knowledgeable and charismatic so the whole thing runs super smoothly. I whole heartedly recommend as something interesting and fun to do!

The workshop is hold in a very beautiful and clean environment where you can also just chill, relax and enjoy your chocolate or coffee. Adrian who is holding the workshops, at this moment it's just him, is an amazing teacher with so much positive energy and a lot to share, he's English is very good, you'll notice from the first moment that he loves what he's doing. The workshop was well structured and very mind opening, after it I see chocolate in a whole different way and I'm possible to recognise real chocolate from the fake industrialised ones. On top of all the information you'll do your own chocolate series with individualised toppings, from the beans to the chocolate, in the whole process there will be a lot of tasting and guessing and again tasting. I'm very glad that I did it, it's all the money worth it, if you have the possibility do it and get your horizon widened. Gracias Adrián!

Getting to make our own chocolates in a chocolate making class was fun and very interesting especially adding our own wide choice of mixes!! Adrian, was so entertaining and knowledgeable about his product – funny too! I will never look at chocolate the same way again! Very passionate about his product, he was very clear what is fake chocolate or what he called “candy bars” (as in a good many known brands!). It was surprising to learn there are actually only four ingredients in real genuine chocolate. This workshop was held in another part of the city but this young company of which Adrian is the owner, also has a retail outlet located at Santa Catalina, 204 Cercade Arequipa from where one can support local business by purchasing their product. Reservations are necessary to do these workshops and can be made online. Cost is US$25 per person.

For anyone wanting to learn about something we take for granted like eating chocolate- this class is a must. Adrian is a chocolate sommelier with a love for teaching and a love for chocolate. The class is diverse with hands on chocolate making at all levels. I will never look at a nestle product the same again. Because it’s NOT really chocolate. Thankyou for sharing your passion

Adrian was really engaging and informative, we learnt all about the chocolate making process from start to finish, and they were generous- we made chocolates to take home and did chocolate tastings
