It's majestic! It is as beautiful inside as outside. I love to visit churches and this one is unforgettable.

Had quite a long morning when we reached the cathedral. Hugely impressive from the outside in a marvellous Plaza. The inside was surprisingly plain compared to other cathedrals and churches. The part of the tour that takes you on the roof us good for views...More

Our favorite place for a Friday night date overlooks the Catedral. We are then at a higher elevation than this pic. We can see the lights of all of Arequipa including the Plaza and the Catedral. Another time for what the Catedral's Museo has. Ciao.

Although the church is really beautiful outside, there is nothing special inside. The museum does not have many exhibits and probably the only things that are really interesting are the stories of earthquakes and the rebuilding of the organ.

This is a glorious monument in Arequipa and I highly recommend the guided tour. I could have spent the whole day here, exploring all the corners of this picturesque place, but my husband finally made us leave after about 3 hours. There is just photo...More

We were awestruck by the size of the organ in this cathedral. Very well preserved after 2 earthquakes. The unique pulpit with the satan at the bottom was unique, have not seen that in any other cathedral.

They take you all through the space and onto the roof for some views of the bells and volcanoes. Very lovely cathedral!
