Colca Canyon is a stunning place - even if you don't get to see any condors. It's a good hike from Arequipa, or even the neighbouring villages of Chivay or Yanque, if you want to stay overnight (recommended). The roads are a bit rough and the viewing areas at Colca Canyon can be very full with visitors. Still, there are... More

Very suggestive place, which gives the opportunity to see a fantastic landscape and the flight of many condors. We saw 7 condors flying beneath us in the canyon, and it has been enchanting. This canyon seems to be the deeper in the world. Even the road that leads from Chivay to Colca Canyon is great, with nice points of view... More

We had a fantastic couple of hours, taking photographs of the Condors and a great walk across the canyon with our Guide (Rebecca at Lima Tours). Fantastic day out, wonderful scenery and great company.

It really is worth the effort to go down the Colca Canyon, stay in the bottom at Oasis, then climb back out the next day. For the really fit you can do the Classic Two day trip.

I'm sure I just touched on it, but our tour gave us the opportunity to take lots of fantastic photos, an opportunity to see the condors at condor cross, and it was overall enjoyable even if just at a surface level

Colca Canyon is a must visit for all who visit Peru. It is a great place to view the Condor, the majestic bird the Inca's worshipped.

Why do it? Because we were there and where else can one challenge oneself while experiencing this very deep canyon? By the way, they deepest one is also in Peru but it is inaccessible. This hike can be done in 2 or 2.5 hours if you hustle but what's the hurry? Slow down and take some pics and enjoy the... More

We went on the 2 night 3 day trek with Kusi Travel (Whose office is located right in the plaza de areas). We paid 135 Soles Per person, excluding the 70 soles tourist ticket that you must buy before you start your hike. Our tour included all meals except lunch on the final day, as well as accommodation (which is... More
