Our trek through the Colca Canyon was one of the highlights of our trip to Perú. Our guide, Abel was knowledgable, thoughtful and attentive. He explained to us in detail about the flora and fauna of the canyon and was passionate and enthusiastic about sharing the Colca Canyon's culture and pre-Inca history with our group. During our trip through Perú,... More

We did the 2 day one night conventional tour. There were only 2 of us and they met every need. We wanted to take many pictures ans we stopped as much as we wanted. We were picked up at the airport and taken to our hotel. Carlitos made sure that we knew the plan for our 2 days. Everyone was... More

We've booked the non-conventional 2 days 1 night Colca canyon tour. During the booking we were asked to select between a pickup from the bus station or free city tour. We've selected the pickup from the bus station. Upon our arrival at the bus station Carlitos has met us, as promised, and drove us to our hotel. Then, surprisingly, he... More

We booked a private tour to Colca Canyon through Carlitos tours after reading some good stuff about them. The tour was very well run, but simply given the time needed for a day tour we're unsure if we'd do it again- that said, we'd book with them if we did! Arturo met with us at our hotel the night before... More

After hiking the Inca Trail, my wife and I decided to travel to Arequipa where we would explore the Colca Canyon. We decided to use Carlitos Tours after reading some Trip Advisor reviews, and they did not disappoint. We were met at the airport by a fast talking man named Carlitos. He was personable, eager to share information about his... More

Our trip to Arequipa and the Colca Canyon was absolutely the highlight of our vacation in Peru. Though the trek was far from easy, it felt like a real adventure. Our guide, Veronica, was friendly, knowledgable, and patient & encouraging the entire 2 days, which helped us during the more difficult parts of the journey. Since it was just my... More

First we had to decide if we just book one of the many 1day tour. From what I read we decided to spend more time and money and do the 2 days tour. But on 2nd dayWe had to get back early to airport so we kind of needed a private tour and 100% organization that we are back on time... More

We went with Carlitos tours on their standard 2-day Colca canyon tour (conventional tour with short treks) - it was our best experience in Peru. Our guide was Jon (John? Jean?) and our driver was Joel - they were amazing. Jon is a really great guide and Joel is a very good driver - believe us, you need a good... More

I am highly recommending Carlitos Tours to anyone who plans a hike to Colca canyon. The service is professional and personal. Carlitos Tours provides free transportation to and from the hotel (from bus station or airport of Arequipa) and the representative of the company provides at your hotel the pre-tour briefing. The groups are small (we had 3 persons +... More

We went from Arequipa on a private tour to Colca Canyon. Our guide was Jean, and our driver was Joel. Jean was very knowledgeable about the area and looked after our comfort and well-being, even to pre-ordering a heater for our room in Cabanaconde, and having oxygen delivered to our room when my travelling companion needed it. Joel is a... More
