We offer excursions to all Peru's main destination but our specialty is the city of Arequipa with varity of excursions and the amazing Colca canyon. For the Colca canyon we offer daily programs with a small Group (shared) or in request Tailor-made private programs. Four of us took a three night trip to The Colca Canyon, the third deepest canyon in the world, full of history, colorful indigenous people, incredible scenery and flying condors. It was a magical and unforgettable trip. The vehicle provided by Giardino Tour Operator was a modern Mercedes Benz van with plentry of room for us and luggage. This vehicle was maintain during our trip in immaculate cleanness and condition by our conductor Mr. Julio Machaca, a very knowledgeable and helpful person that was eager to show us places, customs, flora and fauna of this incredible canyon. I must also say that this is not the first time my wife and l contracted the service of Giardino, few years back, we contracted to make a much longer trip from Arequipa to The Cotahuasi Canyon (second deepest in the world), then to Andahua, to see the Valley of the Volcanoes and then to The Colca Canyon. We did this trip also with Mr. Julio Machaca.

My husband and I travel extensively, we are the type of traveler that prefer the personalized service of a boutique hotel, rather than big hotel chains. We appreciate details and know the difference between a good service and an excellent service. When we were planning to spend New Year´s Eve of 2020 in Arequipa, Peru, our first trip outside NYC after COVID, I planned it carefully, and to organize our stay and tours in Arequipa and Colca I was talking to a "luxury" travel agency recommended by friends. But after talking for a few days with no clear answers to my very precise questions, my instinct told me they were not very knowledgeable of what they were offering. And luckily, I found Giardino Tour Operator, a boutique agency with an office in Arequipa. (not like other "luxury" ones that coordinate your trips from Lima, with no local office in Arequipa, no true knowledge of the city, and who end up relying on locals they hire for each situation). In Giardino I received immediate and accurate response to my questions, I was offered truly the best possible alternatives, at fair prices (it was half of what the other agency asked for and it was two times better. I am not joking), with care and attention to detail. Karla was attentive and really commited to making our experience, the best possible. So were our fantastic guides. I rarely write reviews about services, unless really good, that is the case with Giardino. If you are planning to travel to Arequipa, this is definitely the agency to rely on. And If you are not planning yet to travel to Arequipa, you should consider it, fantastic city, with history, art, architecture, great cuisine, wonderful landscapes. We are definitely planning to return. And will put again our trip in the hands of Giardino Tour Operator for sure. Gracias nuevamente chicos!

We had an absolutely amazing time exploring Peru with „Giardino Tour Operator“. Karla was our agent and she was incredible. She was so responsive and helpful, and she made sure that we had everything we needed for our trip.
We booked a 16-day tour that included all of the major highlights of Peru, such as Machu Picchu, the Sacred Valley, and the Colca Canyon. Every day was a new adventure, and we had such great tour guides. They were all knowledgeable and passionate about Peru, and they really made our trip special.
„Giardino Tour Operator“ also offers everything really transparent and with all prices. This was really important to us, as we didn't want any hidden surprises. We were really happy with the value for money that we got from our trip.

We had a 3 day trip Arequipa-Colca valley-Puno, with Giardino Tours. Most of 2 days spent in the Andes seeing the natural reserve, the village Chivay and Pata Pampa. Second day was looking at the stunning Colca Canyon and finding the famous condors. We had the most fantastic guide and driver with us, who made this trip far better than we could ever have imagined. The guide Ramiro Aragon and the driver Derly. They always provided an excellent service to make us feel comfortable and we felt safe during the whole trip. Their enthusiasm, knowledge and attitude during the whole trip, gave us an excellent memory for life. Thank you very much Ramiro and Derly.

We booked the 2D1N Colca valley tour in conjunction with the 2D1N Lake Titicaca tour with homestay. For the Colca valley tour we got different options for hotels, from cheaper medium quality to more expensive high end places. We took a location with own hot spring which we did not regret at all. We absolutely loved the homestay at Amantani island. To connect both trips, the company arranged a transfer for us from Chivay to Puno. Guides are very professional and go above and beyond to deliver what was sold to us. Transportation was very safe.
Would certainly recommend and use them again if I would go back to the Arequipa area.
One point of attention: I booked directly with their backoffice via e-mail and Whatsapp and communication can be delayed on Saturday pm and on Sunday as they are closed for the weekend.

Ysabel at Giardino was really helpful and supportive at a very difficult time when we were caught in the Covid lockdown and couldn’t finish our trip. We’re now back in the UK have received our refund from Giardino very promptly.
We’d love to go back and do our Colca trip again because the people and the place are wonderful, and we would certainly go with Giardino who were totally professional and supportive. They have been more trustworthy and honest than any of the other global agencies and airlines who still owe us money !

Mine family and me have a “special love” to Peru. When we got the news that the pandemic was hitting the city of Arequipa very hard, my friends, family and colleagues wanted to support and help the people there a little bit. I have many trips with Giardino Tours in the past and we know its Manager; “Lula”. So we contacted her immediately. I can only say that the results of this solidarity action have been more satisfying than we had expected. Lula and her Giardino team organized in Arequipa all the support actions that we wanted that she focus, and they even multiplied the help with activities that generate more income for families. From every action where the money was used we received all documents and information in details showing “total transparency”. This post will be so long with only “compliments” for their great job.
Our purpose was that the money help and support direct to people in need. Honestly; we don't trust government institutions to much. Today our testimony is no for the wonderful trips that Giardino organized us in Peru; but for the "gratitude" that we are feeling now… “Another kind of service” that Giardino Tours provides us and again with honesty and transparency.

We are a family of Peruvians living abroad, Peruvians living in Peru and foreigners living in Peru who had never had the joy of visiting the Colca Valley and Canyon. We are so happy to have picked Giardino Tours for this 2 day tour we did earlier this month. Ramiro (our guide) handled all our questions with ease, knowledge and a healthy dose of good humour. The passion for what he does is clear to see from the beginning. He laid out what was ahead of us each day and organized everything perfectly. Our driver was great too and we felt in safe hands. The stops we made for meals were all great value and hassle free. I would definitely recommend him and this tour agency to anyone looking to book the trip to the Colca Canyon.

We can highly recommend Giardino Tour Operator. We had a 2 day trip from Arequipa to the Colca valley and canyon with a fantastic guide (Luis Angel) and professional driver (Antoni). Luis’s storytelling made us forget time during the long drive and all his stories were equally interesting and funny. We laughed and learned a lot about Arequipa, the volcanos and everything around Colca. The trip itself was very good organized and very good communicated through our guide Luis. Nothing negative to say.

Wow what a trip to the Colca Canyon! The driver was safe and responsible but the star of the show was Maya who really gave it all her energy in making sure we had a nice time. We saw bucket loads of Condors, enjoyed nice hikes, visits to markets etc. Maya gave us lots of information and insights along the way, always with a fresh and positive vibe. When my wife got altitude sickness she responded swiftly with traditional remedies and oxygen. She was always showing her concern and kept track of all the travelers on the journey. We were a group of three families. Icing on the cake was watching Maya do the zipline with us. She became part of our group.
Well done Giardino Tours, thank you driver (Mr Derly) and especially a giant hug for Maya! May your bees be buzzing with you forever ;-)

Hello on February 2018 we will be in Arequipa 4d/3n.
Is there any possibility do climb and summnit Chachani in ONE day (without night in tent) trip in good weather with GIARDINO tours? We will be well aclimatized for altitude.
