Absolutely amazing trip! First off I would like to start off by acknowledging the work done by Yumiko setting up the "last minute" cruise. She scored us an absolutely wonderful trip on an amazing yacht - the Natural Paradise. Her constant and informative communications (via email and WhatsApp) while booking and prior to departure made me feel at ease.
As for the boat itself, nothing but good things to say. The cruise was described as "luxury class" and I have to say, I love how the 1% live. I felt completely spoiled by the attention given to us by the staff. Food was wonderful and plentiful. Off ship excursions included snorkeling, easy hikings, kayaking and a tour of a tortoise reserve on Santa Cruz island.
I highly recommend using Galapogas Last Minute (aka Galapagos Natural Life) for booking your tour.

What an unforgettable and fantastic trip! We sailed the Galaxy Orion for eight days, it was worth every penny. Rodrigo from Galapagos Natural Life arranged everything for us, while we were traveling around Ecuador. In Quito we met briefly at the office to indicate our preferences and budget (we liked getting to know each other live, but we don't have to). Due to time constraints on our part, we could not immediately book everything there, but we stayed in touch via Whatsapp in the following days. Rodrigo always came up with suitable proposals. Because there was a great deal in between, we decided to increase our budget slightly and go 8 days instead of 5 days. I can really recommend this to everyone! This company is 100% reliable, efficient through Whatsapp and helpful.

I recently booked a Galapagos cruise for my wife and myself with Galapagos Natural Life (GNL) and I'm very satisfied with the services rendered and my overall experience. Rodrigo, the Tour Manager, was with me every step of the way, answering all of my questions and concerns about getting to the airport, the check in procedures and document requirements. He was always available to answer a question no matter the time of day or day of the week. Even though we arrived two days before the start of our cruise, Rodrigo gladly arranged for transportation from the airport to my temporary residence and back again to the airport for the Galapagos flight which he also arranged and booked for us. Full disclosure, I had attempted to book the same cruise to the Galapagos Islands with another well known travel organization in Quito but dropped them due to hundreds of dollars of unexplained fees in their pricing. GNL's pricing was upfront with no hidden or unexplained charges and I found their pricing to be a much better value as it included my flights to the islands. The cruise ship, the Galapagos Legend, was amazing and I highly recommend taking a cruise to see the islands. When we decided to spend an extra night on Santa Cruz island after disembarking, Rodrigo cheerfully provided hotel recommendations and arranged for our luggage to be separated from the cruise ship and delivered to our final stop where he had arranged for a taxi to pick us, and our luggage up, and bring us to our hotel. All of this extra service was above and beyond the scope of the original tour but he did it for us anyway. We were so impressed with our experience with GNL, we decided to visit their office in Quito to express our gratitude. We were warmly received by Rodrigo and his staff who treated us more like good friends than customers inviting us to share breakfast and coffee with him. I would highly recommend anyone looking to book a cruise or tour to the Galapagos Islands and/or Ecuador to consider GNL if professional and personalized service as well as a seamless travel experience is important to them.

Rodrigo Canchig at Galapagos Natural Life organized a trip for me and my family, a group of 11 people. We had an 8 night cruise on the Beluga Yacht around Isabela Island, and a few days in mainland Ecuador before and after.
Our experience was amazing, and everything was so well organized that we could just enjoy it without any worries.
The boat was very comfortable, and the staff were amazing. The food was good, everything was always clean, the panga drivers were very skilled and everyone was so attentive to our needs. Our naturalist, Richard Ruiz, was great. He was very organized, knowledgeable, and responsive to everyone's needs and expectations.
Rodrigo also helped us organize transport around Quito, and our driver was also great - always on time, very kind and a good driver.
If you are organizing a trip to the Galapagos and Ecuador, I highly recommend contacting Rodrigo at Galapagos Natural Life.

Rodrigo Canchig at Galapagos Natural Life was excellent in helping plan all aspects of our Galapagos trip and more - He was reliable, prompt with all responses, and highly organized. Our 7 night boat tour to Galapagos onboard the Beluga required a lot of planning as we were a big family group with teens, and Rodrigo was attentive throughout. Our boat trip was perfect, and all the details we asked for were included. Rodrigo also helped us book car/drivers and flights for other parts of our trip when we requested. We were 100% happy with our experience with Galapagos Natural Life, specifically Rodrigo (reservacionesgalapagos@gmail.com). Note that he also runs Galapagoslastminute - it is the same Rodrigo!

We booked the Galapagos Passion Luxury Cruise through Rodrigo at Galapagos Natural Life. Rodrigo was extremely helpful, explained all of the options and gave us the best rates we could find (which we knew as we had checked with other tour agencies). He organised everything perfectly including the salvaconducto required and made sure to tell us to print documents (we saw other people struggling in the airport who had not realised they needed to do this!). He also has contacts to ensure you can take a covid test to enter the Galapagos as required. The Passion cruise was absolutely amazing and we saw all the animals that we wanted to see (including sea lions, tortoises, plenty of the birds, sea turtles, penguins and even a snake!). We were so glad we booked with Rodrigo as everything was perfect including our dietary requirements. He even got us a cheaper deal for the flights! There are lots of options available here which we were able to review before we picked the Passion cruise. Rodrigo is also easily contactable so if you have any questions he is happy to help out. I would definitely recommend this agency if you are looking for a cruise around the Galapagos!

After much research on this site and others, I decided to book our Galapagos Cruise with Galapagos Natural Life (online at galapagoslastminute). I wanted to support a local Ecuadorian agency and boat. They were fantastic! From my very first inquiry online to leaving Ecuador, Rodrigo was only an email or WhatsApp message away. He answered all my questions, usually within an hour any time of day. Rodrigo books and handles reservations for many local ship operators. We picked the luxury boat, Alya. Wow, was it fantastic! I will write a review about the boat and cruise under Alya.
I was nervous to send so much money to an Ecuador bank and tried to do some research to make sure it wasn't a scam. When Rodrigo but a hold on a cabin for me I went to the extra effort to see that another travel site now showed 1 less cabin for my cruise, so I was hopeful this was a reliable travel agency. Galapagos Natural Life was not only a reliable agency but very well organized and informative. After all decisions were made about what we wanted to do, Rodrigo booked and sent us all our cruise tickets and air flight tickets, and all the information we needed for the Galapagos fees and transit cards. We also booked their "Quito Extension" tour and had a 2 day tour of Quito highlights with a private driver. Rodrigo booked our Quito hotel as part of this tour, and had a driver meet us at the airport, take us to the hotel and return us to the airport at the end of our trip. I usually organize all these things myself when we travel but it was a nice touch especially when I don't speak Spanish and have never been in South America. He also had a company representative meet us at the airport on the day we flew over to Galapagos, and she made sure we were all booked in with our Galapagos transit cards and fees paid. After all the back and forth WhatsApp messages with Rodrigo, I felt like I knew him, so it was nice that he took the time to stop by our Quito hotel and introduce himself and make sure their wasn't anything else we needed.
If you want to book a local Galapagos cruise or land tour I highly recommend Galapagos Natural Life.

Rodrigo booked our 8D/7N cruise and flights around the Galápagos Islands (north east and south) whilst we were travelling in Colombia. We had an amazing time on the cruise and are very grateful for Rodrigo’s patience as we worked out how to do the bank transfer, and find the funds for the trip!
It was a really daunting experience putting trust in a company / person when you are in a different country, especially large sums of money - Rodrigo understood and was very reliable sending the confirmation email and tickets and checking us into our flights. We also accidentally transferred $70 too much and Rodrigo let us know and we came to collect it in his Quito office - very honest!
Did I mention that we also had the most amazing time! Was a highlight of our South America travels! Would wholeheartedly recommend for a last minute deal!

We contacted Rodrigo when another trip fell thru because of Covid. He was able to book a 4 plus 8 day back to back trip on the Anahi. He did this is just a few days and we left within 5 days of contacting him. Everything was seemless. He picked us up at the airport delivered us to our hotel. He made suggestions of where to shop and eat. No request went unanswered. He took us to the airport for our trip to the Galapagos and made sure we got our park pass and boarding pass.
When we returned from a great 12 day trip, Anahi was the perfect 16 passenger boat, he was at the airport to meet us again. The personal service was never ending. He and the Anahi were the best.
The Naturalist Gallo was very knowledgeable and catered to all the guest. I couldn't think how this could have worked out better . I highly recommend Rodrigo.

Any advise on Lindblad Endeavor II 10 day excursion? Can you scuba? Can you bring your own wine/liquor? Any advise on your experience and what you wish you knew before you went would be greatly appreciated.

My Lindblad National Geographic Galapagos trip was one of the best in my life and I have traveled over the world. Snorkeling was available almost every day at sea. I am sorry that I don't know about scuba diving. I also don't know about bringing your own wine and liquor. I was on the Islander ship. The wine was very reasonably priced and easily available in the lounge every late afternoon and evening. Lynn Fowler was our lead and I hope to go back again and will book with her as lead again. Lynn is great but she had assembled an amazing set of field guides who were just so knowledgeable about the arcane, the mundane, the every day culture as well as the history. The night sky was unbelievable. The Islander has many quiet places on the upper decks to relax with wine/cocktail and amazing views. But more than anything, I was moved by the experience of seeing this amazing place at the crossroads of evolution. I wish that I had bought the Panama hat, more hand carved boobies and penguins, and a hoodie. I immediately wished I had these things once I got home! I flew into and out of Quito and enjoyed that city on both ends of the trip. We stayed at the Jimenita Birdwatching Reserve and enjoyed it very much. I also reviewed that as a place to stay in Quito. Bring a warm sweatshirt and gloves/socks for snorkeling if you tend to get cold. This is the trip of a lifetime.

Hello. You will have an amazing experience on your trip to the Galapagos Islands. Capris for dinner will be fine. I packed one skirt and wore it once or twice. And packing, I suggest: definitely a warmer jacket, and also a jacket or shirt for sun coverage in warm weather. The temperature varies and the ocean is cold, so you often appreciate a warm sweatshirt or jacket. They provide the short pant wet suits. These work for most people. if you are cold sensitive, bring your own full wet suite (they cost $200-250) and also the wet suit socks. We had one pair of socks and shared them. If we had not done that, one of our group could not have gone snorkeling at all with his 12 year old daughter. A hat of some sort keeps the sun out of your eyes. Lots of hiking opportunities mean you need comfortable shoes. If you are okay in sandals, then great. I took Keens hikers and was glad that I did, although sometimes you just need good socks and water sandals. My smart wool socks were great. Take a few pair. The food is very good. I found the cabins to be quite comfortable. Hope this helps.

I have to quickly choose my cruise since I have a specific time frame and I must share a room on the cruise.
I have the option to go on a cruise which will take me to Bartoleme, Floreana, Espanola, San Cristobal, Santa Fe and Back to Santa Cruz for 8 days, or two different 6 day cruises that will take me around Isabela and Fernanindina plus either Floreana or Santiago. I am trying to decide which is best. The 8 day cruise is on a motor sailor while the other two are on a yacht and small cruise ship. I would probably opt for one of the 6 day cruises if I could arrange a day trip to Bartoleme either before or after one of those. In either case it would probably have to be a Wednesday that I would want to go on the day trip.

While this may sound like an pat answer, all of these locations are so awesome (in the truest sense of the word) that I would pick according to the quality of the guides (experience, dedication to the islands), comfort of the ship and quality of the food. If you have a good guide, any of these trips will be amazing.

I will be there in 2 weeks and am in the process of packing. I was thinking of long sleeve cotton shirts and jeans due to mosquitos. Would you suggest shorts and lighter shirts? I am dark skinned but will use sun screen and aren't really concerned much about the sun.
