Wilson G provided a wonderful educational and inspiring half day tour of our favorite (so far) city in Ecuador. He gave a great mix of Ecuadorian culture, history and personal experiences. Do this tour as soon as you get to Cuenca.

I highly recommend booking with CBT! They are so professional and friendly. Their knowledge of the area is tremendous and they are really able to accommodate their guests. I did the 4/5 Quito to Cuenca tour. Maria and Javier went above and beyond in making sure I had a good experience. The hotels/haciendas they pick are top notch.

The tour of Cajas was amazing! First the hike through the cloud forest around the lagoon, then the drive and hike into the upper paraimo was like experiencing two different parks. The hikes themselves were nice and easy as well. Our guide Adrian was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic.

Had an excellent day trip with our guide Sebastian. He is extremely knowledgeable, knows Ecuadorian history, culture, economy and is an great story teller. He took care of our vegetarian food diet and took us through the food market, weaver factory and the jewellery village. Best experience in Ecuador so far.

When we made reservations for the transfer, we based our timing on research we did on internet prior to visiting the country. When we were in Cuenca, the company contacted us to find out more about our intentions for the transfer. We ordered the transfer from Cuenca to Guayaquil to catch a flight to Galapagos. Once they learned that we needed the transfer to make a flight, they guided us on the timing by explaining the road situation during the morning hours (driving in the mountains in the morning through a fog definitely takes more time) also taking in consideration the traffic congestion during the rush hours (none of this was a part of our research based on general comments of the trip). Needles to say, we were off in our estimation by 1 and a half hours. I am so glad they contacted us and guided us to correct the pick up time, otherwise we would have definitely missed our flight to Galapagos. The driver was experienced and very hands on. We felt very safe the entire trip. Thank you
