Three (1 experienced and 2 confident beginners) of us did the 3 hour ride with Sebastian and it was such a good day out. He has a lovely ranch in the mountains outside Cuenca and his horses are beautiful, I had a lovely Arab/thoroughbred cross. Sebastian let us go at our own pace so we could canter a few times... This review is long overdue as we went on a cabalgata in autumn 2015 with Ecuadorian friends who are all keen horse riders. We went on a beautiful 4 hour ride primarily along a steep ridge and then back through a rural valley. I was riding with my one year old son so I was given a very calm and... More

Our family of three (including my seven-year old son) had a lovely morning ride with Sabastian at Bellavista. We had little previous experience riding, but Sabastian was incredibly helpful and accommodating. He arranged for a private taxi to pick us up and bring us to Bellavista and then accompanied our family on a 2 hour ride through the beautiful rural... More

I had a beyond glorious ride today with Sebastian who owns this beautiful place. I Rode a Arabian with a rocking chair gait. We spent two hours amongst brilliant green hills, passing peaceful farms, friendly people and views beyond belief. Sebastian speaks perfect English and we were able to talk of horses, farms, politics etc. I've owned horses most my... More

This was one of the highlights of our 21 day trip in Ecuador. We rode horses at 9500 feet, on the Inca trail. The views were unbelievable..Sebastian is great, the horses are wonderful. If you do not ride horses every day, I would highly recommend only a 2 hour ride to save your bum.. you will thank me the next... More

I have ridden many spectacular places in North America and today's ride ranks right at the top with the best of those rides. Besides being a expert trainer and equestrian educator, Sebastian is one of the friendliest people I have met. His English is topnotch and he went out of his way to assure I had the right horse and... More

I went on a tour with a group of 13 and we had an amazing time. Sebastian is extremely helpful and friendly, and also speaks perfect English. He took the time to match the horse to the rider and the horses were all well-behaved. And of course, the views were amazing!

My fiancé and I went for a 3 hour ride with Sebastian on Christmas day and couldn't be happier! The horses were very well trained and taken care of. Sebastian is very informative and knowledgeable and you can tell he loves his horses! The views at the top of the mountain are spectacular and I would definitely recommend going for... More

If you have time, like horses and pretty scenery, get in touch with Sebastian from Centro Ecuestre Bellavista for a horseback ride up the mountains (yes, I died a little as the horse was galloping up). The views from above were amazing and something we wouldn’t have been able to see from the ground level.

While in Cuenca for Christmas we arranged for 15 family members to go on a 2 hour ride with Sebastian and his staff. Most people had no riding experience. When we arrived, the horses had been saddled and then Sebastian patiently matched appropriate horse to rider and we headed off into the gorgeous mountain scenery. Sebastian is patient, friendly and... More
