Great place to come for a relaxing experience and leave with smooth baby skin. The staff is really friendly and helpful and they will guide you through the hole experience. If you take the SPA circuit you can then enjoy the exterior pools.
Great half-day gift for your muscles and skin. Staff is really friendly and helpful. There is a large and safe parking lot to leave your car or you can arrive by taxi from Cuenca. The SPA circuit package contains everything you need to leave feeling...More
Loved this place. I went with a group of 4 for the 2/1. The place was clean and we enjoyed having someone to guide us through the different sections.
I recommend bringing a lock for the lockers, flip flops, and some water. We went on...More
Things to do in Cuenca always include a visit to one of the thermal spring spas. In the parish of Baños de Cuenca there are two that are notable, Piedra de Agua and Novagua Spa. We chose Piedra De Agua, in fact, we went back...More
Step out of the box and take an adventure. If you do not like adventures or the spa this isn't for you. However, it you do...this is a must experience. We did the full 6 hour spa treatment. First of all, pay the extra amount...More

My friend and I spotted Piedra de Agua online when investing things to do in Cuenca and after 5 weeks of travelling decided it was high time for a little bit of luxury (or whatever luxury we could afford) and we were not disappointed!
We went for a walking tour for free and when we saw the underground volcanic caves with mineral pools and steam baths we wanted to see the cost. We signed up for the two of us for their 5-hour meals, fruit, 50-minute massage, mineral pool...More

I wore a black bathing suit - it didn't get stained. I didn't see many people with other colors. My friend wore blue and hers didn't stain either. From your skin it washes off fast and right away. Also, it is one of the first steps - so there will be plenty of water time for any clay o come off.
