This flower market is worth a glance if you're walking in that direction. Many beautiful flower arrangements for sale at a very low price.

Small Flower Market situated just off the Parque Calderon, it was a Sunday when we visited and there were only 6 or so stalls, but to be honest I don't think they could have accomodated many more anyway. The flowers were lovely but nothing different...More

Small flower market just off main square and adjacent to cathedral El Carmen del la Asunción. The smell is intoxicating. The indigenous women selling the flowers round out this authentic local market.

Great spot to know about the culture and take great pictures! The nuns convent, where they make wine is behind it and the church next to it has a very colonial style, worth going inside and checking it out.

Flowers in Cuenca are beautiful and inexpensive. I could buy some every day (but I don't have room). Well worth seeing the variety of beautiful colors.

The market is well known to locals. Located between the cathedral and the cloister convent, it is opened every day. Locals take it for granted, but you can buy any flowers freshly cut for 1/10 the price of the US. You also can buy potted...More
