Wow, next level helpfulness! So happy Tamer Obeid was there every step along the way to prep and adapt my journey to Napo Cultural center (5D trip). I had some things I needed to change and I felt really supported to make things flow effortlessly and was impressed with all the service along the way.
The tour was really well organized. I personally felt more motivated to learn about Kichwa Indigenous community building amidst the many threats of oil industry and history of displacement. I would say the tour is more catered for being in paradise and experiencing the beauty of wildlife, forest and enjoying great dinners - kitchen was super impressive in their vegetarian service - and the cabins were super comfy with hammock on the porch and everyday people bringing mineral water can to the cabin for brushing teeth and such and on all expeditions there were snacks provided or rainponchos or a guide would have a fancy binoculars that allowed for amazing picture-taking with your phone camera.
Travelers get appointed a guide (from 1 to 8 people to a guide) so you get really personal care and the guides really go the extra mile to make your stay perfect.
For me I was looking less for luxury and more for engagement with the challenges of the region threatened by oil industry and further up the river the threat of mining. It was clear the community had learned to focus more on delivering a joyful stay.
You are really supporting the community by visiting them to stay on their land. They do great things like build the cultural center and a school so youth can stay longer in community and culture isn't lost.
I had an unforgettable time and experienced some unique moments visiting the observatory up the ceiba tree overlooking the amazonia, flowing down the river on catamaran at night with elder talking by the fire with a nightsky that was simply incredible and kayaking, different clay licks where birds came to drink/feed nutritious clay and visits to the cultural center where women share a bit about the culture.

When I tried to plan a quick tour to Ecuador, Angel at Responsible Travel Quito took care of me. At first I was only booking an Amazon Basin 5 day tour to Napo Cultural Center with them as I usually book my own trips. They came thru on short notice answering ALL my emails. Then I told Angel that I planned to go to Mindo & Otavalo for 2 overnights. He gave me the options of having a driver/guide take care of me on those & it was a great decision. Excellent English speaking driver/guide Sebastian was provided. I had trouble booking my Quito hotel - he took care of it. His choices in Mindo & Otavalo were just right. He checked on my throughout my trip. You could not have a better agent than Angel. As to going to the Amazon thru them?? A dream come true.

By chance I happened to connect with Responsible Travel and I am glad I did. My agent was Estefania “Stefi” Puga and I could not have had a more attentive and responsive person arrange my travel plans. I am a nature lover with a special interest in birds. Stefi arranged a trip that included 3 lodges over 6 nights, transportation, guides, tours and other features and made it all easy. In addition I received messages regularly before I began the trip to check on details and assure me that all will be well. During the trip she checked in daily to see if everything was ok. It was a pleasure to work with such a caring and attentive agent. If I return to Ecuador, I will call Stefi.

Daniel Larrea at Responsible Travel in Quito Ecuador did a terrific job making arrangements for our recent trip to Quito and the Napo Wildlife Center in the Amazon. He was very friendly, efficient and responsive and did a very good job making adjustments to our travel plans and reservations when necessary due to COVID restrictions and airline schedule changes. He even helped quickly resolve several significant problems a friend of ours encountered in dealing with a different travel agency who we were meeting later on our trip to Ecuador even though none of the problems were of his making nor were they his responsibility to resolve. We and our friends had a terrific trip to Ecuador and highly recommend Daniel Larrea and Responsible Travel.

I cannot find words to describe how grateful I am and glad that you and the group truly enjoyed an amazing and unforgettable experience. Like I said before, more than a travel agent I am a local friend!
Napo Wildlife Center is one of the best places to explore Ecuador and the heart of the Yasuní National Park, where you will enjoy so many experiences filled with adventure, leisure, and fun, but also a special feeling to conserve and respect nature :)
I wish you and the group some fantastic journeys in the future, and hopefully, we will meet again!

We had a wonderful time both in mai land Ecuador, as well as the Galapagos Islands.
Everything was very well organised by Frank and Jose. Frank was always available for any inquiries and even helped us with the Covid test we had to arrange at the las moment.
The entire trip felt very safe, regardless of the situation created by the pandemic, because the trip was private and Ecuador is not very crowded no. Actually, it is a better option than other European countries in this period.
The best experience was to visit the Galapagos Islands, which is a once in a lifetime experience I would recommend to anyone.
Many thanks to Frank and the team for a wonderful and flawless trip! :-)

I really had a great time at the Sacha wildlife reserve. This was my first trip to Ecuador and I didn’t know anything about how to book or plan a trip. I was referred by an Ecuadorian friend.
I had such an amazing time there. The Amazon is fantastic, I was greeted at the airport by a guide who helped me on the local flight to coca in Coca I was greeted by another guy who took us up river to the lodge.
I felt watched out for and supported the entire time the tours in the jungle were amazing. I learned so much about the plants and animals, and got some good exercise.

Responsible Travel is really a 5 stars travel agent. In spite of having been contacted only seven days before our arrival in Quito from Italy, they were able to organise for us a terrific cruise in the Galapagos (Yate Bonita) and a wonderful one-day excursion to the Cotopaxi.
Travel representative Wendy Purcallas was amazing. She went out of her way to design our itinerary so that our days in Ecuador remain unforgettable. And she also gave us precious tips for our spare time in Quito.
I cannot find the words to say how happy we have been with her assistance. A big thank you, Wendy!

Perfect itinerary. Tamer organized a tour that covered the Amazon, Andean Highlands, Quito, and the cherry on the cake, the Galápagos Islands, in the limited time we had available.
Super personal attention. Tamer made it a point to greet us not only on arrival but also on departure. He was available literally 24/7.
Definitely recommend.

Our day tours around Santa Cruz island, Galapagos, were just wonderful thanks to Tamer Obeid at Responsible Travel. He answered all our questions fast and precisely both before, during and after our tours. We very much appreciated hid friendly advise about entering the islands and getting around there. So far from home, we felt safe and cared for all the time. Thank you for making my birthday trip a wonderful experience!

I had an amazing 3-week tour in Ecuador (continent and Galapagos islands) thanks to this team! The country is very beautiful, no doubt, but the guides were amazing, very professional and provided great information. The hotels chosen by the agency were very good. I am very grateful for this experience! Thank you!
