What a genuine pleasure it was to work with Mr. Angel Nuñez while planning my visit to the Galápagos Islands. He was the quintessential professional -- knowledgeable, courteous, helpful and remarkably patient. As I told Angel in all sincerity, he absolutely provided the best customer service I've ever received in my life.

We booked our Galapagos cruise aboard the Elite with Angel at GreenGo. He could not have been more helpful, responsive or professional. What an amazing experience from the first interaction to the last. Highly recommend GreenGo. What a first class operation!

Angel Nunez from GreenGo was excellent. He patiently answered my numerous questions and made perfect arrangements for us. Everything worked smoothly.
Ecuador itself was amazing. We stayed at a lodge in the Amazon, took a cruise in the Galapagos and spent some time in the cloud forest at Mindo. I will provide a trip report later.

Ricky was the best. He got me a great last-minute deal on a Galapagos cruise with no single cabin supplement. The price was cheaper than the competitors. He didn't try to annoy me as I was deciding, there's no aggressive selling. Support the smaller Ecuador based travel companies!

Greengo Travel was our choice when we were looking for a travel agent in Ecuador in order to book a Galapagos cruise 3 years ago. Due to the pandemic we had to reschedule our trip three times. We are very happy that we booked through Greengo as they were a reliable partner from the beginning on. We had many questions regarding our pre-payment and further organization. All the time we felt very comfortable with having a very clear and transparent communication with Angel Nunez. He answered promptly and very comprehensive with attention to detail, always happy to support.
Our cruise turned out to be a lifetime adventure with wonderful nature experiences. Our tour on Archipel 1 was accompanied by the guide Victor Hugo, who seems to love what he does. He is a very competent guide, always open for questions. He always tried to show us the best spots possible to see sea lions, sea turtles, marine iguanas, pelicans, all different kinds of boobies, albatross, etc in a respectful manner. We appreciated the way he emphasized the importance of sustainable travel in (far) “contact” with the animals. We enjoyed every minute on the Archipel 1, also in turbulent nights, and we felt safe all the time. The crew on the boat did a great job almost 24h - serving delicious fresh meals, waiting with refreshments after our snorkeling and hiking trips, helped with zodiac rides and wet suits…
Back from the cruise in Guayaquil we booked a “safe” transfer to Cuenca. The driver Maurizio drove always safely and confident even in difficult traffic situations.
We thank Greengo for the very professional job. We would always recommend them to our friends who plan a trip to Ecuador.

I can’t say enough good things about Angel, who helped me plan a 3-week trip to Ecuador for my dad and I. Our trip included time in Quito, a trip to Mashpi Lodge in the Andean Chocó rainforest, a few days at the Finch Bay Galapagos Hotel and a Galapagos cruise aboard the Natural Paradise.
We originally planned to go in 2020, but with Covid, we pushed our trip back to 2021 and then 2022, and Angel so expertly rebooked all our accommodations and shuttles from year to year. He also kept us informed about Ecuador’s Covid restrictions—they’re all lifted now—and was available to answer questions via Whatsapp once we arrived in Ecuador.
I’m so glad I had a chance to work with Angel and GreenGo Travel. I can’t recommend them enough if you’re planning a trip to South America and need some assistance with logistics and possible itineraries!

We used GreenGo Travel twice in the last 6 months for trips to Quito, Ecuador. Our guide was Giovanni Tapia. We have used tour guides all over the world and Giovanni was by far the best. He is knowledgeable, patient, flexible and funny. Time just flies by when you’re with him cause the conversation is so good. He was great with my teen daughters as well taking time to answer their questions and explain aspects of Ecuadorian culture. He also does not force you into any particular itinerary, he gives you the options and let’s you decide. If you find yourself in Ecuador be sure to look up GreenGo Travel and ask for Giovanni. You won’t regret it!

Green Go Travel and Angel are the Best! From the time we inquired about a
Galapagos cruise until the time we returned home their customer service was
exceptional. They make planning simple. Angel patiently answered all of my many questions initially and throughout the planning process. During the trip when we had a question regarding PCR tests or transfers he and/or his associates responded immediately, even on the weekends. He took care of everything from start to finish! I have never worked with a better tour company.

Ricky Alvarado at GreenGo Travel helped me plan our trip to the Galapagos. He was incredibly helpful and patient and answered all of our questions. I felt like we were in excellent hands the entire time and he helped us identify options within our budget constraints. I cannot recommend GreenGo (and especially Ricky) highly enough!

Angel and Endemic Yacht (cruise of Galapagos) are the best! Angel arranged for us to stay on the Endemic for 4 nights and at the Finch Bay Resort for three nights (plus a night in Quito both coming and going). The whole trip was seamless! We absolutely recommend that you contact Angel to arrange your trip - we can't imagine having to coordinate all of the logistics ourselves. Angel did an amazing job of amazing job of picking the yacht and resort, we loved the entire trip! He was also exceptionally communicative throughout the planning and execution of our vacation.

We are a Los Angeles based running group who will be in town for the Guayaquil Marathon 42.2 km in Oct 2019.
Our group is 40 people and we typically travel for 14 days.
Every year we visit a different country to run a marathon. We have been to Ghana, Italy, Vietnam, Israel and Jordan. What makes our running club unique is that we run with individuals struggling with drug addiction and homelessness. We believe running can be a tool which helps depression and one piece of the puzzle to help stay sober.
Some points of interest would be (and open to many more suggestions).......
- Galapagos 4 nights (swim with whale sharks)
- Banos thermal baths
- Climbing volcanos or mountains (we are an active group:)
- Waterfalls
- Nature Reserve/Eco Lodge
- Cloud Forest
- Cooking Class or Handicraft Class
- Meet and learn about the Indigenous People of Ecuador
- Hands on monkey experience
- Devils Nose Train
Maybe some sight seeing here and there for down days but activities are way more fun
I’m still doing some research so I’ll probably have some more specific ideas soon.

Hi Sylvia, thank you for your question. Checking with our sales staff, the estimate/quote provided by Ricky is indeed lower than regular rates published. This is mainly due to the special agreements we have with cruise providers, where we have some leeway with rates.
Finally La Pinta is a great option! many guest enjoy the midsize Pinta features, offering the best of both worlds. A personalized experience with large facilities aboard, and great itineraries.

I'm looking into booking a holiday with yourselves but am worried by this in your terms and conditions:
We reserve the right to change a price of a trip booking without prior notice, in the event of any increase that goes beyond our control including cases such as an increase in government taxes, fuel surcharge, and changes to price of flight tickets, amongst others.
We reserve the right to refuse personal checks as a method of payment. After full payment, the conditions of the contract with your Supplier may permit them to increase the cost of your arrangements. If we are acting as your Booking Agent, we will pass on any such increase to you as we become aware of such increase. If we have arranged a package, changes in transportation costs including the cost of fuel, taxes, fees and exchange rates mean that the price of your travel arrangements may change after you have paid in full.

Simply put we are subject to the terms & conditions each cruise has. These are not enforced by us, but passed on from the parent company managing the cruise.
Having said this, i can honestly say from personal experience and being part of the industry for the past 11 years, these cases are very far an apart. I would even go as far as saying over 95% of guest will never have to deal with this.
If you happen to be among the 5% it is usually for reasons beyond anyone's control such as acts of God, new park regulations etc.
But for the most part the parent company is on the line, and they want to do right by their customers, so you will see many cruise companies covering these costs, to live up to the standards guest expect from them.
Finally, you have the added protection of booking through an agent like ourselves, where we will step in on your behalf and negotiate the best outcome. In some cases you will not even know things have been handled for you in the background.
