The real Colonia in Quito Ecuador. Just a place to remember your ancestors. Come to visit a city with the contrast of the modern world.

Get to the square. Get a guide and then tour. I am not much of a shopper so only got some native shawls. Visit the churches. Or just sit and watch the people. Then take a cab to the top of the mountain

I really enjoyed walking through the old town. The buildings are gorgeous and there are a ton of restaurants and shops. I would highly recommend walking through if you are in Quito!

There is a church in every block in old town. Most of them have wonderful art inside. They usually open for service and they usually have a sign at the door for the open hours for tourists.
