I did not know much about Guayasamin's work. The short English tour took us through his house and described his life and his art. Really well done.

The Guayasamin Museum was amazing. The artwork by Guayasamin took my breath away. The artwork by Guayasamin are massive, the museum is also a beautiful location that overlooks Quito.

The house was very nice and Guyasamin's collections of pre-Columbian and colonial art were outstanding. It was also see some of his work in his studio.

it's pretty out of the way up some steep hills. get a taxi, it's a cheap fare and a difficult walk, especially if it's hot.
