We did a short tour through the church as part of a business visit to Quito. It was simply amazing being surprised by the all-gold church interior! Haven’t seen a church like this before.

It doesn't look like much from the outside, but the inside is outstanding. Look at all the gold detail. There was a fire and it is interesting to see the old gold compared to the restoration gold.
