Me and my boyfriend did a two days trek with one summit. We had Marcelo Sr as a guide and he did a great job. The first day we did a six hours hike before we reached the refuge where we got a nice two course dinner and then we got up early the next morning for our climb up... More

My wife and I did a 7-day mountain tour with Andes Trek and had a wonderful experience. We climbed 4 mountains in 5 days, as well as doing a tour of Quito. Our main guide was Marcello, Sr, the founder of the company and the father to some of the other guides. We were first-time mountain climbers, and Marcello, Sr.... More

My experience with Andes Trek Expeditions was nothing but positive. This family business was friendly, experienced, accommodating, and flexible. All accommodations were comfortable and clean. I felt safe and prepared throughout the acclimatization hikes and summit to Cotopaxi. Pablo was professional, knowledgeable, and experienced. He is open to questions and goes beyond to ensure you are safe and comfortable. It... More

We signed up to climb three peaks – Illiniza Sur, Cotopaxi and Chimborazo – with Pablo over a period of seven days in December. We are relatively experienced climbers who have climbed both technical and non-technical peaks in Peru, Bolivia, Switzerland, France, US, Nepal, Tanzania and elsewhere. Based on our experience with other guides, as well as our basic knowledge... More

Last year I booked the so-called Cotopaxi express, a 5-day tour. After three days we, myself and 4 others, were ready to attack Cotopaxi. Changing of guides and stuff that turned out to be not included, made things far from optimal the first three days. However, the real bad stuff happened the last two days. On the night before our... !!! Excellent !!! Guide Gustavo made us feel comfortable and secure from the very beginning. Marcelo hang on. Good and friendly service all the way. We could not meet all expectations but well I will not hold hold Andes Trek responsible for the weather. Chimborazo will have to wait for visit to come!

We booked for a party of 5 to do a trek in August 2014. Despite some misgivings in our communication with Pablo (we had to send every email twice just to get an answer so I eventually just sent them twice automatically), we had booked in with Andes trek. Part of the package included a private transfer from Guayaquil to... More

Andes Trek Expeditions did a great job for us. We were hiking onto the Chimborazo and the Cotopaxi and I will never ever forget the pleasure wie had. Marcello cared about us in a very lovely way and everybody of our group starting to the summit of the Chimbo reached it. Everybody was proud, happy and thankful. If you are... More
