We were on the fence as to whether or not to book a cruise or do land-based tours to various parts of the Galapagos from the 3 inhabited islands. We had put off travel to the Galapagos due to COVID19 for over a year and could not reschedule our flights anymore. We decided to do a cruise and were so glad we did. After doing a cruise with ECOGALAXY, we realize you simply can’t see the same amount of wildlife without a cruise.
First, I want to give the entire crew on the ECOGALAXY a shout out - they were incredible! The entire crew was amazing, but wanted to give an extra thanks to Jaime, Captain Carlos and Javier. The entire crew went above and beyond surprising my wife with a cake on her birthday made with local ingredients while at sea, and making everyone feel safe and welcomed aboard the yacht. If you're hesitating as to whether it's worth it or not, it is. We realized that the guide for the cruise is key. We lucked out and happened to book our first cruise with Carlos. Carlos was incredible from the start. Helping us to change our departing flights, rebook dates and eventually schedule a second week aboard a sister yacht. Carlos' passion for the Galapagos and its inhabitants shows in his guiding. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the animals, and had an expertly planned itinerary. He is also a very talented photographer and was kind enough to share tips on taking photos
We enjoyed our time with Carlos, and the Galaxy companies' professionalism and safety standards during the pandemic, we booked a second week as soon as we got cell service. aboard a sister ship to see a different group of islands with different flora and fauna. Carlos was not our guide on this particular boat, but I can say with this second week, that your naturalist guide can truly make your time and experience and matters more than the boat you choose.

We had a fantastic 8D/7N trip on the Tip Top V boat, eastern route. We found the trip through dealsgalapagos.com which are Ecuador Green Travel.
Carlos Risueno did a fantastic job from start to finish booking our trip. His communication was spot on, everything was correct, his responses very prompt. I couldn’t fault him at all. The rep who met is in Quito airport was also spot on and helped us get through the 2 additional checks you need before boarding your flight to Galápagos.
The trip itself was fantastic. The boat Tip Top V was definitely first class. The boat was modern and very clean, having been built in 2019. Our cabin was big enough and had everything we needed and a balcony. The food was brilliant; a huge selection for breakfast with something different every day. Every lunch and dinner consisted of 3 courses, all was tasty and well presented. Federico would keep trying to give you more. Then there were snacks after every morning and afternoon activity. I don’t think we had the same thing twice and definitely came away a couple of kilos heavier!
The crew were very professional and everything was done with care and purpose. The whole boat ran like clockwork, everyone knew their role and couldn’t do enough for you.
Our original guide unfortunately had a family emergency 2 hours into our trip but the company found a replacement before we’d started the first activity. Felipe did a great job, was informative and kept us on our toes with a busy schedule.
And finally the activities; every day we did combinations of walking, kayaking, snorkelling and boat trips. The days started early at 6am but that just meant we packed more in and beat almost all the other groups to the islands. Everyday we were shattered and in bed by 9pm but that was just because we’d had a great day.
I could write reams about the Galápagos itself but there isn’t space, it is truly a spectacular place and incredible how close you can get to unique wildlife. A personal highlight was swimming with sea-lions.
All in all we couldn’t recommend Ecuador Green Travel and Tip Top V highly enough. If you’re undecided about which companies to go with you can’t go wrong with these.

Worked with Carlos on getting this trip organized and finally decided on the 8 day aboard the Anahi yacht. We had 15 guests and 10 crew members. The catamaran style boat was clean and comfortable, and was fairly stable in the waves outside of a couple of hours traversing between the islands. The excursions were usually 4/day - a combination of hikes and snorkeling. We visited 8 islands and enjoyed every minute. Food was very good, and alcoholic beverages are available - you run a tab and pay cash at the end. We saw so much wildlife, snorkeled with sea lions, turtles, and penguins, and consider this one of the best trips we have ever undertaken. And we have traveled to just about every destination in the world. We stayed 3 nights in Puerto Ayora prior to boarding which we also enjoyed - you may consider doing the same. All in all, great yacht and easy booking with Carlos.

Just wanted to relay great experience I had with Gonzalo at Ecuador Green Travel. I decided on a last minute attempt at a galapagos cruise while visiting Quito. He got me organized for a 7 day cruise on' La Pinta', literally the day before cruising. This was no easy feat, and he got it done quickly and professionally. The cruise was incredible, I would not have realized what an experience I would have missed. The galapagos are amazing, and La Pinta is an amazing ship/crew/guides to see it from. Very professional operation, that has you active in the islands and sea, virtually non stop. Many thanks to crew of La Pinta and Gonzales for organizing it. thanks!

We spent 23 days on a tour organized and planned by Carlos and Ecuador Green Travel, which spanned mainland Ecuador and the Galapagos Islands. We spent time in the mountains, cloud forest, rain forest, cities, beach, and Galapagos Islands. Carlos worked with us extensively on our itinerary and was very patient and thoughtful in responding to our many questions. His advice and guidance was invaluable and the itinerary he put together was outstanding. We had an amazing time and would recommend Carlos to anyone considering spending timing in Ecuador.
For the land portion of our tour, Gustavo served as our guide and driver. He is fantastic and was so very thoughtful throughout the over 2 weeks we spent with him. He went above and beyond and we highly recommend him as a tour guide. His knowledge was so very impressive as was the care and dedication he had for us. We were a family of five with three daughters to whom Gustavo paid special attention and ensured that they had a wonderful time while giving them memorable experiences and lessons in the history and culture of Ecuador.

Carlos helped us book onto a last minute 4 night cruise in the Galápagos, which we thoroughly enjoyed. From the moment we arrived at his offices Carlos was professional and quickly gathered together some options for us. Once we had made up our mind on a cruise that was very competitively priced compared with others we had been offered through other agencies Carlos sent through all of the necessary info and was extremely responsive in the days that followed when we had questions closer to the time of the cruise. The cruise itself was excellent - from the moment we were met at the airport, to the welcome on board and the professionalism of the guide and crew, everything went very smoothly. The boat was clean and comfortable, and the food tasty and varied. Overall it was a great experience and we would recommend using Carlos and his team when looking for a last minute Galápagos cruise in Quito.

Wow, where to begin. The miscommunication and flat our lies are unbelievable. It is so hard to get answers to basic questions. We wanted to arrive a day before our ship left and it was like the end of the world, we were made to sign a document that says we forfeit all activities we missed. This took weeks to request, where they would not tell us a time or place. A few days prior to the trip we finally got the info, Then the day before we meet up, we were told by our hotel, the boat had a completely different time and directions on how and where to meet. The itinerary they advertised was different then what we received where it missed destinations and activities. Was suppose to 4 activities(hikes/snorkels)a day we got 3. Avoid cruising the Coral I/II ship. Our room had holes in the roof, no AC, no water pressure. The wetsuits we were forced to purchase had rips in them, they didn't have enough and didn't have the right sizes. They don't help you with luggage, they don't accommodate passenger request. No consideration for guest with noise from the crew. We requested to speak directly with the ship to get clear information and they would not allow it. They ship mandated we use them for air travel to the islands from the main land. If we did not they would charge $150 to book our own. They would not tell us our flights until a few weeks before hand. I called the airline with the confirmation code I was given from the travel agency, the airline said we were not on the plane and had no record of us. I told the travel agency and they said its fine don't worry about. The airline said we weren't on the plane and the agency said just don't worry about it. Think about that! All I can say is the islands are beautiful and worth the trip. But stay away from Galapagos Deals(Green Travel) and stay away from the Coral I/II. You will be mislead and frustrated from the beginning to the end.

Thank you for your feedback about the Coral yacht, it's important to know the situation of the yacht and how you felt on board about cabin, comfort and all the details... No doubt that we need to talk with the agent of the yacht about these matters..
For the rest of your review, I'll try to reply your message as clear as possible, due I consider you planned your trip with too many fears about your trip and the money you spend on it and this can make finally that the nervous before and during your trip...
First, we never lie you.. I told you from the beginning that we are third part company that sell Galapagos cruises, all the policies and way of work was apllied from Klein Tours (Coral yacht company) to you and to all their clients.. and always works perfect, but you found a problem to each solution or requirement given by the agent of the yacht..
The policy of extra fee for not issuing flights with the yacht is charged not only for this yacht but for some others, and you had the option to issue your own flights with your tickets and all the info, but no... you accepted issuing the flights with the yacht company and we must followed their policies and way of work... My apologies if those were not good for you, but the company stablisehd them not our company.. Anyway, about this, I informed that the flight was booked according the agent of the yacht and it was totally confirmed, for this reason you could reached the islands without any problem...
The other details are excatly as the company of the yacht prefered to handle the trips, to avoid people asking for services that decide to quit... Also, details as meeting point and time, everything is planned by operations department of each yacht according their crew and availability of time, and more of them taking in count 20 or more passengers travelling on the same tour, the yacht can not focus only in 2 persons and accomodate everything on their preferences... My apologies, you were not travelling alone, this is a group on the same dates, and all the clients were booked on the same way, without phisical flight tickets and the same policies of meeting if they arrived before...
We tried to keep our high standard of service, and messages like your only compromised our work to be better.

We organized two trips with Carlos and Ecuador Green Travel, Amazonía at La Selva Lodge and Galapagos Islands with the Bonita Yacht.
We organized both the trips from Rome and to do so we had multiple Skype calls with Carlos, whose availability, responsiveness and kindness are remarkable. Everything went incredibly smoothly, we had no issues and most importantly no thoughts! We just had to go to the airport and then everything was settled and organized for us. Simply wonderful!
The Amazon Trip @ La Selva Lodge (4 days, 3 nights) was stunning! Once arrived in Coca, La Selva team picked us up and brought us to the Lodge, via canoes! The lodge was beautiful, truly in the forest. The organization, staff, guides and food were incredible! All the activities were planned and the naturalist and local guides were well prepared and always available to reply to questions and curiosities (both in English or Spanish).
The Galapagos Tour on the Bonita Yacht was simply perfect! Upon arrival to Galapagos, we found our guide awaiting for us and the entire group at the airport. The trip was of 7 days, 6 nights, organized in a way to see as many things as possible. We were able to see many Islands (most of which are not reachable on daily trips): Santa Cruz (north and south), Santiago, Isabela and Fernandina. On the boat everything was perfect, the crew, the cabin, the organization, food, hiking, snorkeling - all the activities! We truly do not have any word other than perfect.
Both tours definitely exceeded our expectations! ABSOLUTELY RECOMMENDED!!!!
Finally, a big plause and thank you to Carlos, for his support during the organization – notwithstanding the time zone differences, his availability on both skype and WhatsApp to reply to our questions, clarify our doubts and to reassure us when needed. He made us feel relaxed! If our honeymoon was so perfect, it is also thanks to you!

Our recent trip to Galapagos was wonderful .I want to express our thanks for your help and patience during the almost two-year from our original booking to the actual departure. There were times I thought this trip might never happen. Thanks to you and Green Ecuador it became a reality!We also want to compliment the Seaman yacht crew. The yacht was beautiful and perfect for this type of excursion. All of the crew truly worked together as a team to make the guest experience a great one. As a small business owner for many years I see and appreciate when a team works towards a common goal. Seaman yacht is an exceptionally smooth operation.Our guide Enrique was excellent. He was extremely personable , friendly and knowledgeable. His daily briefings were very well done and provided just the right amount of detail to keep it interesting.His command of English was very impressive and he was always happy and able to answer any questions we had.I should also add that he had no problem getting into the (what turned out to be pretty cool ) ocean water to guide snorkelers twice a day. I think that him being in the water ,plus the very attentive Zodiac pilots, gave the less confident snorkelers more opportunities to see the amazing marine life . The itinerary exceeded my expectations and the specific site selection for the snorkeling was great for all levels of experience . Our tour guide (Elizabeth) and Carlos (who organized everything) were both terrific. We had a fabulous time - from the tour of Quito to the hot springs (Termas de Papallacta) to the Amazon (Casa Suizo) to hiking up Cotapaxi volcano - we loved all of it. It was a great mix of activities (relaxing at the spa to more strenuous hiking to seeing diverse species in the Amazon to great handicraft shopping at the city tour for Quito). Elizabeth was a really friendly, gracious, and helpful tour guide - finding the best foods for us to sample and helping my mom (78 years old) throughout the tour. Our family of 6 (including 3 teens) all loved the trip. Would wholeheartedly recommend the company, the tour guide and the places we went to.

Nos interesaba saber las distintas excursiones que se pueden realizar para conocer el Amazonas y sus distintos precios, aproximados. Ya sea por un dia, o por mas. Somos una pareja y tenemos planeado recorrer las atracciones mas bellas del lugar

muchas gracias por contactarnos. Ecuador tiene una gran cantidad de lodges en el oriente, tanto en la zona del Coca que visitan el parque Yasuni, tales como Napo wildlife, sacha lodge o Yarina lodge, cn precios desde 300 usd por 3 noches, hasta 1000 usd por 4 noches.. dependiendo el hotel
En la zona de Lago Agrio para visitar Cuyabeno tales como Cuyabeno lodge, samona lodge o Jamu lodge, aqui los precios estan entre 200 a 300 por persona en un tour de 3 hasta 5 dias.
En la zona del Tena para visitar los lodges del alto Napo, tales como la casa del suizo o cotococha lodge, con precios desde 180 usd por 2 noches hasta 400 usd por 4 noches.
