I’ve booked a scuba live-aboard tour in Galapagos with these guys. The vendor (Dennis) is a Rescue Diver, he did patiently describe all the scuba options that I could do, he conducted the sale in a very informative way so I could see clearly all of the day trips and the live-aboard options, I explained to him that I wanted to make the most of my time while I was in the Galapagos doing scuba. He provided me with a very structured offer, which suited me time wise and wildlife wise, leaving me to choose the Calypso live-aboard.
The experience on board of this ship was incredible, the crew, the captain, the dive master, the amenities, the itinerary, the food, the drinks and the wildlife that I saw on the week went beyond my expectations. I saw tons of hammerheads (300 in one afternoon), four whale sharks, one Diablo Manta Ray, sea horses, zillions of tropical colorful fish and gorgeous sunsets.
I cannot wait to go back to Ecuador; I will definitely take another scuba trip with these guys.
I cannot recommend this company enough, they are truly informative, honest and they can help you choose the right experience for you!!

My family of 4 went to the Galápagos Islands last week for spring break which had been planned for last year and was rescheduled due to last year’s lockdown. We had an amazing time and needed a Covid 19 test before boarding our flight to the US. Since this was not available in the Galápagos, I found Dennis Yepez who arranged for us to be tested in Quito. He took us to a very professional lab which was clean and efficient and we had our results in 3 hours. He then gave us a full tour of Quito where we visited the Equator, a beautiful museum, drove through Old Town and rode a gondola up to 13,000 feet! We had a great day which ended with a delicious dinner and drop off at the airport. Our family of 4 was fully vaccinated and we felt very safe in Ecuador as everyone there takes full safety precautions for Covid 19. The Galápagos Islands are beautiful and empty with amazing wildlife and I highly recommend visiting Ecuador and using Dennis and this company.

We took a full day trip arranged by Dennis, our tour guide was Eddy
We were three adults and a to be sixteen year old
It was very nice, Eddy was very knowledgeable, he went at our pace, made sure we saw everything, he took pictures for us
The park was closed, but he still found us something to do
Overall very good
Glad we went and got to learn so much about Guayaquil

Visit to Parque Histórico, to learn about the history of the city (This was closed)
Parque de las Iguanas to admire the typical green iguanas from the coastal region from Guayaquil, was very nice, and visited the Cathedral next to it, highly recommended
Malecon 2000 walk through the most amazing Boardwalk built in the American Pacific Coast and saw many interesting monuments and vistas of the city anthem Guayas river and hike to Cerro Santa Ana to see this cute and picturesque iconical neighborhood of Guayaquil. From its top was an amazing view of the city.
The pick up time was 10 am. The finishing time was 16:00.
Trust Dennis for all Ecuador trips, you are guaranteed a great time

We just finished a trip with this company. We visited the highlands, the jungle (Yasuni), ant the Galapagos Islands. The experience was memorable. Our guide Dennis, went beyond in order to show us all what Ecuador can offer. The itinerary was organized in a way that everything feated perfectly. The vehicle that its company provides is an special expedition vehicle full of great amenities that made the ride smooth, even in the most awful terrains, you can drink a glass of coke without spiling it. (LOL). Our guide knowledge was unbelivable : he Knew the name of every mountain, every species, every tribe, every church, every town, we couldn't be happier.
In Galapagos, he provided us with a special taylored itinerary. We visited the tree main islands, at San Cristobel we saw amazing wildlife plus the tortoise breeding center, we stayed at a great hotel (Casa Blanca). Then we flew to Isabela, there we saw tons of wildlife including marine iguanas (we saw a couple of then breeding on the beach), we saw sally light footed crab, we saw american flamingoes plus other birds, we biked towards Playa del Amor and made it to an amazing eye look from the one we wachted the shore of the island (Cerro Orchilla); also, from there, we saw Floreana island.
After that we flew to Santa Cruz and we saw the highlands of it, including the twin Craters, Darwin's Center, Tortuga Bay and Puerto Ayora. We stayed at Verde Azul Hotel, wich was nice. Dennis took us to the best restaurants where we ate delicious sea food for very affordable prices, and he made sure we were comfortable at every lodging, plus we watched great wildlife, achiving an overall great experience.
I really recomend this company if you want to have a trully memorable experience.
They also provide with tours to Peru and Bolivia. We are definitely singing up for those in the future.

Dennis is an amazing guide. On a few days notice, he was able to put together a tailored itinerary through Ecuador. Throughout our travels, it was clear that he knew the country exceedingly well, both from a typical “tourist attraction” perspective and from a “how to work within the system”. Furthermore, Dennis was extremely flexible and open to changing plans as the opportunities presented themselves.
I won’t get into details of my trip since everybody’s idea of a perfect trip is so individual but I couldn’t be happier!
Bottom line is, I highly recommend hiring Dennis and his company to make your trip unique and unforgettable.

I booked a rapid PCR test through this company. My husband and I saw at midnight before a flight to Peru that there were updated travel requirements for Peru that required we have a negative test even though we're vaccinated.
We panicked and eventually found Guanguiltagua Expeditions, which responded in the middle of the night and scheduled someone to come take samples at our hotel in the morning, and the price was reasonable.
When there was an unexpected delay in receiving the results (and it was getting close to boarding time for our flights), Dennis was extremely responsive and helpful, and he got us the results we needed to make our flight in time. If I ever return to Ecuador, I will definitely book a tour with them.

I communicated with Gonzalo, about arranging a private guide/driver for Quito and Otovalo. I had a lot of questions, and he had many great suggestions. I probably drove him crazy, having him give me separate detailed price quotes on a bunch of different combinations. In the end, we completely changed our travel plans and I was not even able to use his excellent service. My main point - he was super prompt in replying to emails, and very professional and understanding when I had to advise that we could not even use him. Great guy! Will use him next time for sure!

Recently travelled to the Galapagos and needed a PCR test to re-enter Bolivia. The airport in Guayaquil only does rapid tests so I contacted Dennis who organized a lab to be at the hotel when we landed from the Galapagos. The technician was a little late but Dennis was available via WhatsApp and gave us timely updates - we had the PCR results in pdf form about 4 hours (via WhatsApp) and the hotel printed the forms for us. Highly recommend using Guanguiltagua Expeditions if you need the COVID PCR test in less than 72 hours. Price was $75 each and we didn't need to leave the hotel - paid a deposit before traveling and then paid cash for the balance at the time of the test....make sure you have exact change to give the technician.

This was the most amazing vacation! I can't say enough about Dennis Yepaz, the Director and our guide. We first contacted him on email and asked about his services and advice for an itinerary to explore Ecuador. After some correspondence, we spoke to him on the phone, he seemed to have an intuitive appreciation of what we were trying to see and do. The charge seemed very fair for our trip and his exclusive attention. He demonstrated extensive knowledge of Ecuador and included various different locations, cities and activities. He introduced us to the culture and gave us a residents perspective to the people and development of his country. He organized an amazing tour, and being non Spanish speaking Americans, we appreciated his excellent command of both English and Spanish (I believe he speaks two other languages as well.) He brought us to interesting and beautiful places, some from the 1500's and allowed us to experience so many different aspects of Ecuador. He is friendly, easy to talk to, and flexible. I felt safe with him. We toured in his 4 wheel drive vehicle, much better than a bus (announcing us as tourists,) and had a intimate knowledge of the roads and streets, never having to check GPS or maps. He brought us to Haciendas off the beaten track that were amazing. He ensured our creature comforts were provided. He was so caring - one night he set us up in a hotel that (unknown to him) was very cold and the front desk told us there was no heat. We tried to speak with them again, but they only brought us a blanket! When we texted Dennis and told him of our predicament, he actually came to the hotel at 12:30 am to intervene!
We spent 5 days with him and it was worth every penny - and more. I highly recommend him as a personal guide for any type of visit to South America, He also is experienced in tours of the Galapagos, Peru, Columbia and Bolivia - which we hope to schedule soon!

Dennis organized a beautiful custom 10-day vacation for my family of 10 people. We all had a wonderful time & enjoyed the excursions. We were grateful for the expertise of our guides in knowing where to go for good food, where to look for wildlife, as well as the best places for snorkeling and sightseeing. On Santa Cruz, we saw marine iguanas & lava lizards at Tortuga Bay. We snorkeled with sharks, penguins, sea snakes, sea turtles & colorful fish at Bartolome Island near Pinnacle Rock. We kayaked to Tintoreres Islet off of Isabela Island where we snorkeled with sharks, sea turtles, barracudas, sea lions, & more colorful fish. We also saw penguins, crabs, and marine iguanas on the rocks nearby. We went on a bus tour near Puerto Villamil to see the turtle breeding center, hike in a lava tunnel, and tour a fruit farm where we ate fresh fruit right off the trees. In Quito, Dennis arranged for our covid tests to be done in our hotel rooms. Then we toured Old Town, explored the city & hiked around the statue of the Virgin. We also toured the Intinan Museum where we saw real shrunken heads. We had a delicious dinner at an exclusive restaurant in Quito before leaving for the airport to return home. We all have many happy memories of this trip.

Hi. I read reviews about Dennis and your company. I am a group of 8 people who are coming from Canada and would like a tour of Quito and the surrounding area for the 24th and 25th. We would like a private driver/guide. We want to go to Mitada del Mundo and other places that you would recommend. We are staying at the Marriott hotel in Quito. Thanks for your question.
This drive might require at least four days due to the amount of attractions on the route.
The per day cost for a nice SUV with fuel, life & accidents inssurance for passengers and Driver will be USD 200.00
If you want a professional tour guide you will have to add USD 50 per day.
Meals and hotels for the driver will have to be covered by you.

Hello, I was wondering what a Driver/guide experience would cost from Cuenca through Cajas, through Guayaquil, and on to Salinas, and up the coast to Bahia de caraquez would cost for 3 people? How many days would we need to put in our itinerary to see the best of the best things and this route, and maybe work in a boat and snorkle trip to Isla de la Plata or other nearby island? The best way to travel from Quito to Cuenca and take photos will be by private car.
The only public buses that can take you are the ones which depart from the South Quitumbe Terminal in Quito, however they won't stop for pictures.
