Gulliver Expedition and Jeremy were the absolute best in coordinating my trip to Ecuador. This trip was plan very last minute the month prior and I found Gulliver Expedition through website search and so glad I did. Jeremy from the first time he contacted me was very attentive and listen to what were our interests and must see places we wanted to go. He gave me some suggestions and send itinerary very quickly which we work together to tailor it to our likes with the days we had available. We ended up adding two days based on his suggestions so we could accommodate more days in galapagos and was perfect. We are adventurous so our trip in Ecuador we went to Baños, Quilotoa, Cotopaxi and did biking, hiking, waterfalls, lakes, volcanoes, and water rafting and had a blast. We wanted to go to Amazon but not enough time, next trip for sure as we are going back. Then we went to Galapagos to Santa Cruz and San Cristobal Island and we did snorkeling, hiking, kayaking. Best snorkeling I had ever done was in Santa Fe my favorite island we swam with sea lion, turtles, sting ray, and so may fishes with colors so unbelievable. We also like Bartolome is very different island from the rest. All our guides were amazing, friendly and knowledge. I unfortunately got sick start of the trip and my guide was kind enough to bring me medicine and wait until I felt better to start the day and made the difference. The transportation, local companies for day trips, and accommodations were great as well. Just a minor hiccup in Santa Cruz and before we arrive from our day trip they had change our hotel. That is how amazing the service before and during the trip was by Jeremy and his team. The overall price was very competitive and much better offer than all other companies I contacted plus Jeremy quick responses to all my questions and changes requested just made the difference. I would recommend Gulliver 100% to everyone who is planning a trip to Ecuador. I will be booking them for upcoming trip to Bolivia and that’s just how amazing their service is.

Following a recommendation from a friend we used Gulliver Expeditions to help us put together tours of Ecuador/Galapagos and Bolivia as part of a longer tour we were doing of South America. I must admit that I was nervous dealing with an Ecuador based business when booking from the UK, coming so soon after Covid lockdowns and with continual stories of bogus operators. I needn't have been! We dealt with Jeremy Le Cam who from start to finish was absolutely brilliant. He tailored the trip to meet our initial requirements but then also made suggestions that meant the final package far exceeded our expectations. His communication was excellent throughout and he even met us at the airport on arrival. We had fantastic guides and super accommodation and yet the cost was significantly below anything I could find through a UK operator. I can't recommend Gulliver too highly if you are planning to visit South America.

We first contacted TravelLocal in the UK. They then made the contact with Jeremy at Gulliver Expeditions who called me by phone almost immediately to have a chat about our hopes and aspirations for our trip. Jeremy then sent me through an initial itinerary which included activities we didnt want to do. He then customised and tweaked our schedule until it had extra wildlife related things to do. I had done some of my own research initially and so requested day trips with guides - all of which were incorporated into our itinerary.
Jeremy was very patient with me and answered all of my many questions in a very responsive manner. We were given the cost and paying via the system set up by TravelLocal was painless and straightforward. We also received an ATOL insurance certificate to cover our internal travel arrangements.
Jeremy set up a WhatsApp group between us and his Cusco-based representative which worked out really well. I was a little concerned that he was in Quito and we needed someone in Peru to sort out any glitches. As it happened, our Cusco rep was wonderful, and she met up with us to talk us through the documents we needed for our visit to Machu Picchu. We were very grateful for that personal touch. Sorayda, the rep, also very helpfully arranged for our boarding passes to be delivered to our phones which we greatly appreciated.
So we felt well prepared for our trip. We had a fantastic time. The hotels and lodge in Tambopata National Park booked for us were top quality. All of our transfers worked and were on time even for all of the separate day trips such as the boat out to Palomino islands from Lima and a birdwatching day around Huacarpay Lake near Cusco. Our programme also had group visits around Cusco and Lima cities. A major highlight was our time spent at Machu Picchu. We were very impressed at how all of the connections worked and our guides were on time and very knowledgeable. Jeremy at Gulliver Expeditions had clearly set up all of these arrangements, probably with help from his Peruvian-based representative, in a very effective way because we were not let down once.
Now that we have returned to the UK we feel we also had good value for money because of the quality of our experiences.
Bravo Jeremy and Sorayda; thank you so very much for making it all happen for us.

We used Gulliver Travel Agency due to a friend who lives in Ecuador and recommended them. Katie was our contact there. It was an amazing experience from start to finish. We were able to customize our 3.5 week trip around Ecuador completely. Katie was able to accommodate our budget and energy level well. She was also able to find us great deals during COVID on Galapagos Cruises.
Our itinerary included:
Quito
Bellavista Cloud Forest
Cuyabeno Amazon at Jamu Lodge
Quitoloa
Baños
Cuenca
A short stop in Guayaquil
Galapagos Cruise and stay with friends in Puerto Ayora
Back to Quito
It was all spectacular! I would recommend Gulliver Travel to anyone coming to Ecuador (whether you want just a little help arranging things to a full package). They are good with communication and respond quickly. They are also able to help with setting up any COVID testing needed.

Dear Laura,
Thank you so much for sharing your feedback with us and the rest of the TripAdvisor community! It was a pleasure to assist you with your travels in Ecuador and the Galapagos Islands. We appreciate your comments and even passed them on for the entire team to read as it was and always is a team effort!
Future guests will have a great example of what we can provide them thanks to your itinerary list! And it is only a shame that you didn't have more time to spend with us because there are many more destinations in Ecuador throughout the Northern and Southern Andes and Pacific Coast that have so much to offer!
And yes, whatever needs you may have regarding Covid testing or if you just want to make sure the information you found is correct, you can visit our Covid website on Gulliver's webpage and we will be happy to confirm or help with anything you need!
Even with a pandemic, Ecuador is safe to visit and we are so happy you chose us to travel with! Here's to more adventures and safe future travels!
Best regards,
The Gulliver Team

Gulliver Expeditions provides exceptional trips and service. From the time I first contacted them asking questions about an expedition in Ecuador, they always provided prompt, reliable communication. They made the booking process easy, and the logistics simple to understand. Once in Ecuador, the transportation, lodging, and guides were excellent. The service Gulliver provided was wonderful and I would recommend them to anyone traveling to Ecuador or another South American country they offer trips in.

Our group was looking for a 10 day mountainbike trip in Ecuador. We came across Gulliver Expeditions and they organized a great private tour for 6 of us. I had multiple conversations with Johana in preparation for the vacation. She took all requests into consideration and even added a last minute walking tour of Quito. Once on our bikes our pleasant MTB guide Wilson was very knowledgable and we gained a lot of insight into the country, its people and history. Our van for the week was very clean and reliably driven by our helpful and friendly driver Wilo. The visual and cultural experiences we had during the trip were awesome. The various hotels/hostels we stayed in were always clean and the staff was eager to please. The riding was physically challenging which was what we wanted. It was not technically challenging because Ecuador does not yet have a network of single-track trails. Johana checked with us throughout the week to see how everything was going which I thought was very attentive and customer service oriented. Overall, it was a great experience that we will cherish. The spectacular views of the Central Highland region will be in our memory forever.

Our second visit to South America is again with Gulliver Travel. This time was a circle route through Peru. Lima, Paracas, Ica, Huacachina, Nazca, Arequipa, Cusco, Chivay, Machu Picchu, Rainbow Mountain, Lima.
We were extremely pleased with the experience and the organization of the trip. We were able to fine-tune the adventure to meet our needs. We had many fun experiences and never felt vulnerable or unsure about our travel environment.
Some highlights were sandboarding in the dunes of Huacachina and seeing Rainbow Mountain. Of course, Machu Picchu is a must see. Also, the Saqsaywaman archeological site out of Cusco was spectacular.
We travelled by coach (bus) several times from city to city and it was an acceptable method of travel.
A special shout out to Jeremy and Angie for coordinating our trip. Also, special recognition to Angela for being the best tour guide in Cusco!
We generally travelled as a group of 2, joining a few groups along the way. We felt Gulliver’s travel was great value for the experience.
I recommend travelling Peru in a counter-clockwise direction as the elevation gain is more gentle and makes for a better experience.
Lastly, the food is spectacular!

After very long research, I have booked a trip with Gulliver expeditions to the Galapagos and I must say that they have organized the best week of my life. Once landing in Santa Cruz I was able to stop thinking about anything and did not have to take care of anything. EVERYTHING was being taken care of. Everything was on time and on the highest quality I could have imagined. Amazing Value for a very fair price.
Also, I have to point out Eran and Johana that took care of everything, to the very small details and were always available and responsive. Hope to always travel with a team like them.
BTW - Since the trip was that good, I have also booked a trip to Cuyabeno Wildlife Reserve with them and it was also a great eperience

We booked a three hour horseback riding tour at the Cotopaxi National Park. Katie, our contact at Gulliver Expeditions, demonstrated excellent customer service skills by providing us with the needed information and answering our questions in a timely manner. I was impressed at the fact that she reached out the day of the tour to wish us a nice time and then reached out again, after the tour, to check on us.
We had a little mishap with our vehicle the day of the tour that resulted in us starting thirty minutes late. Our tour guide, Rafael, gave us clear riding directions and set us up for the ride with our chaps and ponchos - we looked legit! I was expecting a much shorter ride since it was my fault we were starting late. But Rafael gave us the entire three hour adventure and we loved it! The beauty of the landscape, with its constantly changing flora was breathtaking.
Once we got back to the camp, we had the lunch that was included with our trip. It was delicious and hit the "spot" after three hours of trotting and galloping.
I am already planning to take another trip to Ecuador with my family and this ride will definitely be part of the plan and I will be booking it with Gulliver.

Dear Yemikoc,
Firstly, we exted our deepest thanks and gratitude to you for sharing your review! It is important for our future guests to know we are open and operating, and have been since October of 2020, all under the best protocols.
Secondly, thank you for choosing us to travel with! Horseback riding is such a wonderful activity to enjoy in the wide spread plains of the Andean paramo, especially with the beautiful Cotopaxi volcano in sight!
Our horses are calm and gentle, well treated, and even if you are a beginner rider, or have never even rode, our guide is an expert teacher and the horses are patient. We also have various options and durations of the horseback riding tours available from one hour to four hours.
We very much look forward to helping you discover more of Ecuador for you and your family! Until then, please take care, stay safe and we will be here designing even more tours and options for our guests!
Kind regards,
The Gulliver Team

We just returned from a great trip to Quito and the Galapagos Islands organized by Gulliver Expeditions. They arranged an excellent itinerary for my husband and me that had just the right mix of snorkeling, hiking, biking and animal watching/iconic vistas. We don't like group travel but also didn't have unlimited time to find everything on our own. Jeremy provided the perfect level of support that enabled us to travel independently yet with a well-designed schedule and guides when we needed them. I would highly recommend them!!
