Located in the Airport Center across the street from the airport (e.g. outside of the airport sterile zone). Free access for PriorityPass, Diners Club, and some other travel programs; otherwise $39 / person. Lots of Lay-Z-Boy chairs; blanket available on request; a quiet room; and dark, a quiet room in the back. Soft drinks, coffee, filtered water and very light snacks are available.
I'm not sure if this is the policy; however, we had no problems leaving the lounge, picking up food from the upstairs food court, and quietly eating in the lounge.
The only constructive comment I have is that the staff should enforce the written policy of it being a quiet place. I had to ask a couple other guests to use earbuds when playing videos, which was awkward.

A great place to have comfy nap between flight. Price 36 USD for 18 hours. Loungkey members are allowed just 4 hours. Located just in the airport center opposite to the international arrivals. I got refreshing and relaxing nap despite hearing some patrons around snoring. Seats recline enough for relaxing sleep, blankets provided. At midnight quite but the lounge can get some noise from the walkway in the airport center. No meals just some small and basic snacks, cakes, mini sandwiches, drinks tea/coffee. Showers available, WIFI strong. Attendant caring and helpful. The lounge fulfill my aim to get some good sleep between the flights for that reason 5*.

Again in this room :)
I have been lucky because the travelers have been respectful of rest.
Certainly one or the other does not...
The reception is courteous and willing to collaborate!!
You have everything you need to rest, eat, Wi-Fi and even a shower. Open 24 hours and 3 or 4 hours of stay, depending on the card you have.

Location is convenient, $40 for an 7 hour layover, arrived about 5:30pm. Initially looked OK, it was quiet and there was comfortable seating, though the space overall is very small. The food options though were abysmal. There were TINY sliced thick bread finger- sandwiches that if eating 10 would be half of a regular sandwich, they had been out a long time, picked over and dried out. There was an automatic soup dispenser... there was a chili-and cheese dispenser to go over some stale corn chips. There was water and sodas, coffee and hot water for tea available. No alcohol available, not even for purchase. There were reclining chairs that were comfortable, and some in a dark area for napping. But if you need to plug in and re-charge your devices you need to find a plug, the chairs are not designed with charging stations unfortunately. It started off quiet and there are signs at check in and other spots reminding everyone to be quiet, use headphones, whisper etc. Evidently entitled parents and their broods of small children that are given entrance to this small space do not feel the same courtesies apply to them or to their cranky, bored, and sugar dosed children with their multiple screens/games/shows. After two rounds of families coming in with small kids and on-going soda guzzling and iPad games without headphones...I left. Literally the TGI Fridays on the departure floor was quieter. There is a 24 hour lounge I discovered too late, that does accept one-time pay to play entry about the same price. I would have opted for this had I realized. Food and Drink would have been better, and charging stations/options I'm sure more plentiful with the business traveler in mind.

Unfortunately, most flights from the US arrive in Quito late at night. If you are continuing on to Cuenca, that flight isn't until the next morning. So this place offers a convenient (across the street from where you get out of customs, still on airport property) option. At $39, it's a bit pricy for what it is. There are hotels a short cab ride away for $30. But for that awkward five-hour layover, it's an option. Depends on the behavior of people around you. Respectful people getting some sleep, no issues. Selfish people who want to hang out and gab, it is not good. IMHO, price is a bit too high to make it a go-to, but it is clean, safe, free soft drinks, comfortable recliners to lie back in. Beats sitting on a hard chair in the terminal. I would not recommend this for families with children, they would not be happy here. More for the solo traveler on a layover. For a couple, at a total of $80, you'd be better off at the Wyndham hotel a short walk away.

Although being well placed and across from the airport the Layover Stay Lounge is an all regards a place with a lack of comfort, hospitality, and overall quality. It lacks proper structure from its staff; having customers being treated at different levels solely on physical or "book cover" level although everyone pays the same price for entry. On a rating

The Layover Stay lounge is a good concept that allows travelers to have a place to rest and recover from a long flight. I've probably stayed at this place 10 times over the years since I usually have a late arriving flight and an early departure the next morning. It's really a nice place to have a snack and get some sleep. I just wish that the other patrons of this place respected that some people are trying to sleep. I was there two nights ago in a recliner in the sleeping room but a group of 6 or 8 people came in together and talked and laughed so loudly that I kept having to shush them from behind the curtain. And there was another person watching an action movie with full volume on a cell phone. I think that the Layover staff should encourage patrons to be respectful of other patrons.
The entrance fee has increased to $39.

If you're looking to sleep, forget it. There were snorers, people talking on their phones, parents who let their children run amok. It is acceptable only because the local and international flights are many hours apart. The food was left out all day. Anyhoo, unless you're desperate, keep your cash.

Had a 7-hour wait after arriving back at the Quito airport from the Ecuadorian Amazon & had a wonderful stay. The chairs were so comfy, it was quiet, there were drinks & snacks, plus the attendants were very friendly and accommodating. For $36 per person, it was a relaxing place to spend time prior to our 1am flight to Dallas. Highly recommended!

We stayed there a week ago and had a great experience. It was a little noisy at first, but once I asked the front desk woman, she respectfully asked the other guests to be a little more quiet. I would definitely go back next time I’m at Quito airport.

I have questions about the layover lounge.
Is there a reservation or membership required to enter?
I have a 7 hour layover. How early do I need to get to the gate for my connecting flight to Baltra?
How much time does it take to walk from the lounge to the departure gate for my flight to Baltra?
Is there a place to secure my luggage safely while I sleep?
Can I pay with a credit card or is it cash only?
Thank you
