The Anglican Cathedral of San Pablo (Saint Paul's Cathedral) is an Anglican temple located on the Concepción hill in the city of Valparaíso. It has been declared a Historic Monument of Chile. Certainly worth visiting.

This was part of our city tour and we did not expect to see what we saw once you step in. You can still smell the vintage building once you're inside and beautiful well kept. A must see when you're here!

The beautiful Queen Victoria Memorial Organ is in need of restoration, but still sounds great. A piece of history, kept tenaciously alive by the people in charge.

Thank you so much for your appreciation of the Organ recitals and the work of the Restoration committee who keep both the Organ and the building in good working order. We welcome help and advice from all who appreciate and value the architecture and the music of St Paul's.

We came across this delightful little church on our tour of Cerro Concepcion. Its rather understated exterior is of historical interest but it conceals a charming interior and organ. Well worth some of your time.

Iglesia Saint Paul was nothing out of the ordinary as far as church buildings go, but the story behind it being erected was interesting.

They are every Sunday lunchtime from 12:30 to 1. Well worth attending, please leave a donation.
In reply to those who say the building is unspectacular, there is a reason for this. The Catholic Church only allowed St.Pauls to be built if it had no exterior imagery to identify it as a church.

Nice church, I was there with some classmates and we were very lucky because we had the chance to go inside and listen the orgnaist while he was rehearsing, was really amazing to be there listening that incredible sound.

We walked by that church every time we went back to our hotel last week. The architectural design is neat but again, nothing spectacular. The church is surrounded by walls and the neighborhood seems to have caved in around it.

The tour was good. The care of monuments and national landscapes leave a lot to be desired. For example: Valparaíso, declared by UNESCO World Heritage Patrimony is in such state that it’s a shame. As you walk throughout the street all you smell & see is, literally, a bathroom.

An extremely interesting visit, the Cathedral is a must for anyone intereted in the historical background of the port of Valparaíso. It is 160 years old, the first Anglican church in Chile. It has several interesting features, such as stained glass windows, the Queen Victoria Memorial Organ, which dates from 1903, remembrance plaques from WW1 and WW2, its construction history, and so on. The Cathedral offers free Sunday concerts at 12.30, with a rotation of organists and also visiting organists from abroad. I highly recommend visiting.
