This small plaza is mainly cafes of various cuisines and it contains an interesting fountain, although the Trevi Fountain it is not. A good rest spot if you've been wandering the hills.

A pleasant square in the center of town with some good architecture around it. Our tour bus passed through this area.

I stopped here on my way in and out of the Historic Quarter of Valparaiso. There isn't a ton to see here, but it is right on the edge of the historic district, and the green trolleys run right past it. It's also a meeting point for the free tours along Plaza Sotomayor. There are many coffee shops, a few restaurants and locals selling crafts here along with a few unsavory people. I felt very safe here but also not sure there is anything really worth you spending a ton of time here so I would consider it more of a landmark, hoping off point, or point of reference rather than a place you need to see.

This square is near the center of town with shops, restaurants and cafes all around. Not very pretty but practical.

Mediocre square with a tiny fountain. Some terraces and a very good Italian restaurant, the trattoria in the middle forgot the name...

This square is much loved and much used by locals and tourists alike. There is always something going on in Pza.A Pinto -from when I go to work in the mornings until the early hours.

There are many restaurants and bares in this place. It is near to "Plaza Sotomayor" and "Port of Valparaiso". You can find good things nearby. At night is a point of turists, but it is a little dangeour and dirty

In tHis morning's paper the VERY FIRST question for mayoral candidates was, "What are you going to do about Plaza Anibal Pinto? If only all of the Counter Cultujre folks seemed Counter Culture. Aging street people and "lost" teenagers seem to overwhelm the plaza.
Best place to catch a bus . . . Just stay near the curb, away from the guy with the three barking dogs, away from the girl selling home-made somethings, away from the apparently homeless street people lined up against the buildings at the rear of the sidewalk.
The only person we know who is comfortable here is our Chilean friend Comegatos. A clever person would stay at least across the street for persona, and hygienic safety.

It was filled with people during the day, street vendors and the Cinzano rest is right in front of it. There was music in the evening in the plaza right behind it.
