We went yesterday with my partner, we "ate" at the central location on the second floor "Club House". The service was very good, but the food was horrible. I ordered a fried hake with puree, the puree arrived cold and with zero taste of puree, it tasted like powdered milk. The fish, full bones and the bad shake. My partner ordered a paila marina whose smell was no longer appetizing, clams with a strong smell, very fried octopus, giving the impression that this was not fresh. We left the food there (we ate a couple of spoonfuls and were afraid of getting sick) and the total we paid was 22,500 for something we didn't eat. The girl who went to collect asks us "didn't you like the food?" We told him about the experience and he just listened, he didn't give any solution. Bad experience not to return.
We had previously eaten at the place next door and the food was not wonderful but it was not bad or inedible.

We loved it. It smelled like they sell fish and produce. That is what busy markets smell like. It felt as safe as any similar market—it is very busy and people are bumping into you all the time. Put everything in a safe place and avoid any interactions unless you initiate them so you are not easily distracted. I felt very safe but on alert because it is crowded. We bought very fresh produce. Prices are negotiable in Spanish if you are up for the interaction.

NEGATIVE:
Impossible to walk in this market without being harassed by the staff of EVERY restaurant. Questionable hygienic conditions.

POSITIVE:
- good prices
- "quite" fresh food

What a cool place. I love the markets. You get to see what the locals eat and try all kinds of great things. I love being adventurous and seeing what we like. Clean, safe and good stop while visiting.

This is a good market with a large variety only two blocks from the bus terminal. There is also an abundance of fruit and vegetables and salad along the streets outside the market. The second level of the market is primarily for dining with several options to choose from, but beware... all of the food stalls/restaurants are relentless when it comes to trying to get you to eat at theirs, so be ready to say, “no, gracias” many many times until you are ready to eat. We had lunch at one place upon arrival, and ate lunch at another upon departure.

This is a traditional market with lots of small stalls - great for fresh fruit & vegetables. We also bought some goats cheese. No meat. It’s a busy bustling market, but with some good bargains. Our favouite stall was for fruit - Veronica’s - she is a few puestos (stalls) down from the corner of Calle Rawson - on the building side of the footpath

A place to see local people selling staff, specially vegetables. It's quite interesting to see how they promote their products. You will definitely get some good shots. There are many local restaurants on the second floor: good prices, regular food (including fresh fishes and seafood); a bit dirty and sometimes smelly though. Last thing: be careful with your staff.

One of the dirtiest and most dangerous places in the area. You have to be very careful in this place because there are always thieves. You must also be careful not to fall because there is all kinds of organic garbage lying on the ground. The smell is unbearable at peak time.

Poor quality restaurants, little variety of dishes and the service is also bad. Dirty establishments and street vendors break into your table
