Six of us booked a custom tour from the port of San Antonio during a cruise. Excellent narration Along the way with walking tour of some of the highlights of Valparaiso, a terrific wine-tasting at a beautiful winery, and a visit to the seaside home of the Nobel prize winning poet Pablo Neruda. Easy payment arrangements and clear communications when we booked the tour. Highly recommended.

Juan Victor of Perro Tours is amazing. The 4 of us landed in Santiago and he was there to greet us and toured us in a comfie van, included walking tours of this stunning part of the world. Great english, solid historic and cultural knowledge, charming. He even took us grocery shopping :) His driver was excellent! We highly recommend!!!!

We had a great experience with Perro Tours! Juan was really helpful in planning our day trips in Chile and also led an excellent and interesting walking tour of Valparaiso and Viña del Mar. Really enjoyed!! He tailored the tour to our interests, abilities, and schedule. He met us when we arrived and made sure everything was sorted and smooth. Very flexible, great communication, dependable, and lovely. Highly recommend!!

From the first contact with Gian Carlo, through Rodrigo’s driving and guiding, to reaching Juan Victor’s guiding, the whole experience was kind, safe and very enriching. We hadn’t talked in a while with a gua as passionate about the history and culture of his place as Juan Victor!

Victor, my guide, was incredibly knowledgeable about the city and it's history. His passion and enthusiasm for sharing his knowledge made the whole experience very enjoyable and educational. Being a private tour, it was tailored to exactly what I wanted to see or was interested in. Highly recommend

I booked a walking tour with Jorge for February 2014 and was looking forward spending the day
with him, instead we had Camille. We had a fantastic day , the tour was in both languages French and English. We were very impressed with her knowledge and enthusiasm. We spent a very informative ,friendly day with Camille. Walking through the different neighbourhoods was an eye opener. We walked all day, had a great lunch and had to race in the afternoon to the pier.

As with everyone else who has reviewed Perro Tour, we were very impressed and so happy we decided to use this company--both for the walking tour through Valparaiso with Jorge, and also to book a driver to take us to a winery on our way back to Santiago. Although we had been concerned that we might view some sights on the walking tour that we had already seen when we were exploring on our own, we really need not have feared: we ended up seeing so much more than we could have imagined! Jorge's style is very relaxed, but very professional. He gave us just the right amount of information--not overwhelming us with facts, but supplying us with interesting stories and insights about the history of Valparaiso. As others have commented, he appears passionate about Valparaiso, and this enthusiasm was catching! He led us through a multitude of non-touristy neighborhoods that we accessed by various means of public transportation: public bus, trolley, funicular (all negotiated by Jorge so we didn't have to figure it out)...and at one point, we had the amazing luck to come across several well-known muralists in the midst of painting (they had a small crowd with cameras surrounding them). We ended up hanging here for awhile feeling like we were part of the "in" crowd. And although Jorge could have ended the tour then--we had already been out for several hours, he enthusiastically continued through several more neighborhoods, ending at a very sweet restaurant in the Cerro Playa Ancha. We had a fantastic time--one of our highlights in Chile!
We then had the pleasure of meeting Juan Victor and his father, Juan, who gave us a very smooth ride to Casas del Bosque winery (delicious!) where they waited for several hours while we took a tour and tasting, then safely transported us to our next destination in Santiago. Juan Victor answered all of our many questions about Chile--and was very helpful translating for us when we arrived at our next destination in Santiago. Although we only stopped at one winery, they will provide transportation to several if you wish, and although taking a bus to Santiago would have been cheaper--it was well worth it to enjoy a beautiful wine tour and then have door-to-door service to our next stop without having to stress about how to get there! Juan Victor was very helpful and his father was a great driver! So glad we booked this!

I had been corresponding with Juan for about a year about booking this tour. Juan was very easy to work with and always responded to me quickly. He was on time and waiting with his sign of the dog at the cruise pier. Unfortunately the cruise port was so crowded with busses and vans picking up people and tour groups we waited I think almost an hour to really get on our way which kinda put us behind schedule a little bit. Juan was very knowledgeable about the area and his country. He was very helpful at the stops we made translating what we needed so we could keep moving. The lunch stop was fabulous with the best empanadas we had had the entire 3 weeks traveling around South America. Plus the Pisco Sour was very good too. From there we went to Valparaiso and saw many many beautiful murals. This town is amazing and I wish we had more time to sightsee there. In my opinion I would have preferred to see more of Valparaiso than to stop at the winery. But I was the one who asked for the winery and overall it was a fun experience and the local wine was wonderful. I highly recommend Perro Tours to anyone visiting San Antonio, Valparaiso or Santiago.....

Excellent in all ways. Pick up from cruise terminal was on time. We were a group of four. Our van was perfect for us and four large luggage's. On our way to Santiago we stopped in Vina Del Mar and Valparaiso. Our guide was well spoken and knowledgeable.

We booked a private tour of Valparaiso with Perro Tour. Juan Victor was very prompt in responding to emails to arrange the tour and met us at the bus station in Valparaiso.
Juan Victor is from the city and was a fantastic tour guide with excellent English. We had given ideas of what we wanted to visit which he incorporated into our tour. He took us around a few neighbourhoods and he was very knowledgeable of his home city, gave interesting facts and was able to answer all our questions. The tour was not rushed and he took his time with us to show us around.
Loved the tour and highly recommend Perro Tours and Juan Victor if you’re looking for a guided tour of Valparaiso - thank you Perro Tour and Juan Victor.
