"Pay What You Want" Walking Tours Everyday of the week at 10am and 3pm in Vina del Mar, Chile. We meet at Reloj de Flores every day of the week. Our guides wear red and white striped t-shirts like the children's book 'Where is Wally' or 'Where's Waldo' on some countries, so it is easy to find us. The tour is a 2,5 hour highlights walk through the city.

Took both offered tours in Valpo in April. One with Fernando and one with Javier. The Wallys have a great knowledge about the city and offer an interesting approach to tell the visitors about the history and culture of Valpo. This is the thing to do here. After the tours you should walk on your own through the streets and... More

We had heard of Tours 4 Tips as a great introductory way to see the city. The experience is about 3 hours long and is very interactive. The guides all seem to love what they do and are very knowledgeable about the city. This was a great way to get the lay of the land in Valpo and I would... More

I am staying in Santiago and wanted to spend a day checking out Valparaíso and Vińa del Mar. I thought I would just wing it, take the bus there and do the walking tour of Valpo then head up to Vińa to see the beach, etc. In the Almeda bus station I talked to someone from Turismo Valparaíso Del Mar... The tour was the best part of our visit to Valparaiso. Our "wally", Maca, knew everything about the city, and shared her stories enthusiastically with us. We got to take an acensor and then wind our way through two of the major cerros back down to the waterfront. We got to try local snacks and generally had a great time,... More

We took the afternoon tour with CJ and it was really fantastic. Ive taken these type of walking tours around the world but this was the best one for its combination of amazing content and also CJ really personalizing the tour by introducing us to a local artist, street musician, and baker. A trip to Valparaiso wouldn't be complete without... More

We did a morning tour with Camilo and Aida (it was her first tour and she did it very well). The morning tour was very interesting and we enjoyed it very much. The guides explained a lot about the history of Valparaiso, the politics, the streetart and their own experiences that really made this tour a must do when you're... More

This is the perfect way to orient yourself after getting to Valparaiso! You learn about the city's history as well as what builds this unique, bohemian sanctuary. Bring change for public transportation and the most amazing alfajores (shout out to don Sergio!). Camilo in the morning brings personal experience to his tour and gives captivating history lessons (sitting out by... More

Franco gave a great tour. He covered Santiago's history covering the major sights in downtown Santiago. We walked parque forestal. We 'tipped' Chilean peso 15,000 and thought it was great deal. (US$ 22.00) price is up to you though.

We did the afternoon tour. Andrea was really great. She had the right amount of serious-ness and playful-ness. She told us lots of good information and was friendly. Honestly, I would have liked to walk even more (it was less than 3 miles of walking), but the walking we did was great. I fell in love with the city. Thanks... More

Tours4Tips, with our guide Christian, did an amazing job of showing us Valparaiso's highlights in a very informative and amusing way. You can see the pride he has in his city as he shows off it's views, history and people through humour, song and the stories he tells and the "neighbours" he includes in the tour. Well worth the time.
