We really had no idea what Chilean cuisine was all about, so we joined Chilean Cuisine for a cooking class to find out. The class started with a market tour to shop for the day's ingredients, and wound back to the kitchen in Cerro Concepcion. The Chilean Cuisine team does a good job of keeping things casual and friendly; the... More

Inez was so kind and very knowledgeable. I loved going to the market and picking out our indgredients. I felt that I learned a lot about Chilean culture beyond the food. Speaking of.... so good and fresh. It was amazing!

We really enjoyed spending time and learning about chilean cooking, lifestyle and history. Our Chef Ines did a great job. She explained a lot about the local fruits and the traditions. We made the best Empanadas we had in Chile. Apart from the delicious food the Pisco Sour and the tasty chilean wine made us really happy ;-) All together:... More

My girlfriend did this class with another friend of ours and it was great. The market was fun, cooking was great, and eating was even better. It was especially helpful to talk about what ingredients we could substitute if we couldn't find the right Chilean versions at home!

A fun experience. The instructor spoke english. We shopped at the local markets, which was a good experience. The recipes are all simple enough that you can cook them at home with normal ingredients. The facilities were great. When I booked it, I thought it was a bit expensive (40,000 pesos). But it took about 5 hours, and was lots... More

Very happy with our cooking class experience. I loved most that we went to the local market place to select our ingredients before a very detailed, hands on and interesting demonstration of how to cook a handful of local dishes. Left very full and content.

This experience is a must if you like chilian food and want to learn more about it. Carolina is the best teacher, not just about food, but with chilian culture in general. Martin is also a sweet. I recommend this class to everyone.

My cooking lesson with Ines was great fun. After shopping for the ingredients at the central market, she guided me through each step of preparing a delicious lunch of scallops with cream and white wine, fresh salsa, charquican (a vegetable stew), empanadas and fresh fruit with palm honey. We had Chilean Sauvignon Blanc with the scallops and a robust Chilean... More

I've taken cooking classes in several different places and this was the best one. Chef Ines was an amazing teacher, great food, and tons of fun (and reasonable priced). Highly recommend!!
