Imez was our teacher for the afternoon / evening event. First we left for the market where we bought our fresh ingredients for the meals we could pick ourselves. We even got 2 starters as I don't like fish while my wife loves it. Then we started to prepare everything supervised by our teacher. We're no great cooks but the... More

We had a lot of fun shopping and cooking in Valparaiso with Ines. It was actually hard work but we learned so much and the meal we produced was the best. I would definitely take this class again. Recommended for anyone interested in cooking and culture. It was a great mix of both! Thank you, Ines!

Carolina is very sympathic and obviously enjoy sharing her love of Chilean cooking. The market was also a nice experience. I was a little disappointed to not cook a complete dish by myself but just participated to one task, actually pretty annoying. But overall the atmosphere in the class was very nice, it was a treat to eat altogether what... More

...finally i got to know some key secrets and useful tips when cooking chilean food. In particular my key uncertainty was the dough for the empanadas. With Ines great insights and educational skills its now cristal clear. The empanadas "eran para chuparse los dedos", with the best and lightest dough ever. With the coaching from Ines, suddenly everything seemed obvious... More

Absolutely fantastic time. Carolina took us and the others in our group to the markets, then showed us how to cook the traditional chilian dishes. Fantastico!

This was a great way to spend the day and included a visit to the market to buy the ingredients as well as the lesson itself, which took place in a comfortable and well organised kitchen. I was lucky to be one of a group of two and Ines, the chef, was lovely and very knowledgeable about the food, the... More

We had a lot of fun learning a variety of Chilean dishes and even how to make pisco sours. Ines was great! She speaks perfect English. We got to experience shopping in the mercado which was really interesting. I really felt like I gained a better understanding of life in Chile and can't wait to try out some of the... More

This was my first time taking a cooking class and I have to say it was amazing! Our class started at 4pm and finished at around 9-10pm. We met in the flat area, we took a local bus to go to the farmers market, then we decided what menu we were going to prepare, we chose our own ingredients and... More

i had done something similar in Jordan, and this certainly was different in its own way. From going shopping to buy raw materials to the wide variety in the menu. Ours was a small class of 3, so we all got to really cook. We weren't able to finish everything we made so we got to take home one of... More
