We returned to Victoria plaza enroute to the large Cathedral. It is one of several that line this specific area of downtown Valpo. The fountain is a key feature but best of all is the Impressive huge tree.

A square with quite a few 'different statues ' not the least of which is the Fountain. Apparently many years ago the Square was named Plaza de Orrego and used for bullfighting. The name change followed the success of Chile in the Pacific War to...More

Nice city park of monumental value to the Chileans. Looks like every other victory square. Beautiful fountain in the middle with fours statues in the corners for the four seasons. No need to make a special stop in my opinion but nice to drop by...More
