You can do a 2-hours-trekking tour (one-way, I got there in 1 hour...) to a waterfall. Nothing special, a rather boring way, not difficult.
You can also hike up to Cerro La Cruz which is getting tougher and absolutely worth the hike! It is said you'd need 6 hours to get there, I arrived after 3 1/2 hours. You'll lose the track durig the last hour - the toughest part - but won't get lost, you already see the cruce on top of the mountain all the time. You'll be rewarded by a 360-degree-view of Santiago on the one hand and mountaintops on the other.

the experience was good, the place is really nice if you want to go with your family, the rock pools are amazing, the water is a little bit cold, but that is not terrible at all.
The sound of the bird and the water is very relaxing, so, if you feel stressed, this is the place for you.

This was one of the best places that preserved nature as clean as possible, with long rutes across variety of trees, rocks and animals. The main river is fresh, relaxing and enjoyable. the air is clean but sometimes very foggy, still a very very green place that makes you feel connected deeply with the mother land and yourself. Maybe it could count with a cafeteria, but only if ti wouldn't ruin the preservation of the place.

A very fun, easy and accessible trek close to the city. It's very easy to get to using the metro and buses and once you get into the park the city disappears. It feels very natural and peaceful and is a very easy walk. Set aside about 3 hours if you plan on walking to the Waterfall and back. And take some drinks and snacks as there wont be any on the way.
