I arranged our private tour with Mauricio via email. He was very professional and helpful in our decision to do a private tour of Valparaiso / Vina del Mar and return to San Antonio for our back to back cruise. Because of COVID-19, our 2nd cruise was cancelled and our tour guide Francisco was very agreeable to taking us to Santiago airport after our Valparaiso and Vina del Mar tour. Our tour guide, Francisco was very professional, knowledgeable and pleasant - he made our tour very enjoyable and spoke excellent English. We enjoyed the seafood empanadas, recommended by Mauricio. Thank you Mauricio and Francisco for a fun last day in Chile.

We had tried reaching several tour operators but none responded promptly as Mauricio did. Initially we booked only the Valparaiso and Vina del Mar with Penguins island tour but we were so happy with Mauricio that we booked the city tour as well. Mauricio is very friendly and knows how to treat his guests best. I would recommend this tour company to anyone visiting Santiago.

During our recent trip to Chile, we used services of Central Valley Tours for private sightseeing tour of Santiago and Valparaiso. Mauricio and his associate Francisco were excellent. We had great time touring with them. Mauricio is very prompt in responding to any email inquiries I made about our trip. He also eased my worries about recent turmoil in Santiago. I would highly recommend this company without any reservation.

Maricio our guide and the owner of Central Valley Tours picked us up at our apartment, even though we were at ground zero for the demonstrations. The four of us along with Maricio were in his 2018 Mahindra SUV. Clean and comfortable. His seven years in the U.S. have given him excellent language skills. Born in Chile, raised in Brazil he has a great deal of knowledge about the area and culture of Chile. His driving is reassuring and he is familiar with all the streets and neighborhoods of Con Con, Vina Del Mar and Valpariso. The colors of the houses and the buildings of Valpariso are mesmerizing. Houses clinging to the hillsides burst with murals, graffiti and unique architecture. Simply a well paced, informative adventure.

I reached out to Central Valley tours to see about going from Valpo to Santiago, but getting in some additional sightseeing during the transfer. CVT responded back to me immediately and helped arrange a great day. Mauricio is awesome! Such a fun and cool guy. The day was timed perfectly. We were picked up right on time from our hotel in Valpo and we scooted off to visit Isla Negra. We got there right when it opened, so it wasn't crowded at all. After that, we drove to Pomaire to check out the pottery town. We had an authentic lunch while we were there that was delicious. Mauricio helped guide us with the menu and what we should choose. After Pomaire, we went to a winery in the Maipo Valley and it was an excellent choice on Mauricio's part. Very interesting, old winery. We were happy. After the winery, they took us directly to our hotel in Santiago. Everything was wonderful. I highly recommend you book this company for anything you might want to do in the area.
