This is the place for fine dinning. It is the expensive part of town, known locally as the "other Chile."

this is a booming new section of the city that has at least 6 good restaurants within 3 city blocks. Some hotels here also, if that is what the tourist wants. Modern, comfortable semi-luxury hotels

Our party included my parents-in-law who are in their 70s. So we wanted to keep to safe(r) spots. This is a lovely, clean, wide street. Sort of Rodeo Drive in Santiago. We found a couple go galleries we liked, plus one very helpful bookshop.

No doubt, Isidora Goyenechea Avenue deserves a stop!. The best restaurant of Santiago de Chile are there as well as two of the best hotels: W & Intercontinental. The area is pretty safe. Parking is allowed for a fee! Enjoy!.
