I did the three day ascent of Cerro Plomo with Jaime as my guide. This mountain is definitely a physical challenge, but the hike is beautiful and so rewarding to reach the summit. They provide the food, gear, and transport from Santiago which greatly simplifies the logistics as I was coming from the US. Jaime is a great guide who makes sure the expedition is successful, enjoyable, and most importantly safe. He is also very knowledgeable about the local area and wildlife. Overall Hike Chile does a great job and this is an experience you will remember for a lifetime.

I had been indoor bouldering for almost a year and really wanted to try sport climbing outdoors. It was simple to organise with Hike Chile. They were very responsive and gave me different options and recommendations. I booked a day of climbing and my guide Sebastian picked me up and we drove about 2 hours to Cajon del Maipo where the crag was. The routes we did were based on my ability and what I felt comfortable and enough for me to choose from. Sebastian was cool and patient. Gave advice when needed it. Felt very safe the whole time. How much climbing you get to do is pretty much how much energy you have and how much you want to. A great experience.

This hiking experience has been easy to book and the guide (Javier) a very easy going and nice person. I definitely recommend this hike if you only have one day and wish not to remain in town and take sone air. The hike is physically quite demanding and proper gears are necessary (good hiking shoes, sticks, and proper mountains clothes). Everything was well organized and the agency is serious. I would improve the lunch box which is quite basic: a small sandwich, an apple and an energy bar. Better to take something extra. Overall very good.

This is my second trip with Hike Chile and this time it was an awesome adventure in Patagonia! Hike Chile is always reliable and responsive, flexible and trustworthy. They provided me with knowledgeable, passionate and fun guides who are extreme adventurers themselves! I had a work assignment in Puerto Varas prior to my W Trek in Patagonia. Hike Chile made it all smooth and convenient for me by making all the arrangements (flight bookings+logistics+private guide) so that I just focus on my W Trek adventure and having fun! :) I also had several last minute requests which they helped with promptly. My private guide, Pepa, was a great company, responsible and with a wealth of knowledge on Patagonia. I appreciated that she ensured my safety and provided me with crampons for the trek in the snow. She knows Patagonia and the W Trek very well and was able to take me to some secret locations with magnificent lookouts! We played in the snow, we played in the mud :) Everyday was lunch with a view! I definitely recommend Hike Chile and I would do another tour with them if I am in Chile again :D

I'm from Brazil where there is no snow and wanted to experimence it in a different way. We started our walk far from the business of the ski parks, and where the snow was ideal for enjoyment. My guide (Jaime) gave me tips on how to walk on the snowshoes and how to handle the hike. He was paciente and respected my limits being very kind and motivated. The punch box was great, with high energy options like peanuts, fruits, chocolates and a sandwich. I toltally recommend it.
