Great for gifts
Jan 2020
This is centrally located in the city and has a nice variety of gift possibilities without being overwhelmingly large or crowded. Copper, wools, stone, horsehair mini-crafts, t-shirts, magnets, wood, etc.

good quality of goods of alpaka cloths
Dec 2019
I like the atmosphere and have both several alpakawool cloths (sweater, blankets and socks). Most places take credit card and have goods for fair prices.

Fun, colorful outdoor market
Jan 2020 • Solo
Too bad a lot of stalls were closed.
Colorful scarves and bags, jewelry thousands of key chains.
A good spot to get that perfect souvenir or a nice alpaca scarf for yourself!
I would recommend this spot.

Great location and great selection!
Aug 2019
This market has a great location--really close to the Santa Lucia metro station. The selection was great; I'd recommend taking time to explore all of the stalls if you have time. A lot of the stalls have similar items (e.g., magnets, mugs, etc.), but this means that you can really search for the best one for you. Additionally, there are some other stalls that are more unique so keep looking! I imagine that there's something for everyone.

Great place to get your unique, hand made Santiago gifts
Nov 2018
I love this shopping area. It is the perfect place to get your unique, hand made Santiago gifts. Filled with 20+ venders and shops selling regional items, it's a great place to grab a unique souvenir to take back home with you. Venders seemed willing to bargain with you and most knew a little English to help with making purchases. It's a fun place to explore even if you aren't looking to buy anything.

Interesting mix of things
Dec 2018 • Couples
Here you will find all sorts of things, at relatively good prices. Even locals seems to shop here.

For more handcrafted objects head across the street to the park in front of the fountains.

Nothing interesting
Dec 2018 • Couples
Very disappointing. There was nothing that caught my attention and if this is your only option you are better off waiting to buy stuff at the airport.

Not True Artist Market
Nov 2018 • Friends
I went to this market after reading all the positive reviews about quality and prices and was sorely disappointed. This is not an artisan market. It is full of cheap trinkets that say, quite literally, I was in Chile. If you’re looking for t-shirts, hats, mittens that say Chile you’ve come to the right place. You can also get alpaca scarves and it doesn’t matter which stall you go to. They are prepackaged and the same in stall after stall. Also cashmere scarves, and copper colored and blue stone jewelry. Prices may be good but I saw nothing but tourist junk. If you want a real artisan market go to the one at the end of the subway line by the church. There you will find shops with looms, woodworking tools, and jewelers benches. And I saw nothing the same and nothing in plastic wrappers.

Great selection. Check it out while visiting Santa Lucia Hill.
Jul 2018 • Couples
We liked this shopping area enough to check it out twice. However, nothing really sticks out as being an 'amazing' keepsake from Chile.

I found the souvenirs on Easter Island much more interesting, albeit way more expensive.

If you missed out on getting Easter Island souvenirs, the do sell some here, and at Patio Bellavista.

Nice place to buy excellent souvenirs in Chile
Sep 2018 • Friends
Nice place to get good quality and cheap souvenirs from Chile. Recommend it. If you want keyrings, scarfs, glasses, t shirts, and many typical things here is the place.
