The walk up the hill wasn’t too extreme as it wrapped around the hill ending in 360 view of the city. The views along the way were amazing and the gardens would be beautiful in season. It is fall now so not much in bloom....More

This place is good for walking enjoying views, nature and history, Take a time to go to the top of the tower and take some pictures from Santiago. Enjoy the little castle and gardens you will see around the walk.

An alternative hill to San Cristobal, with pretty similar views and nice walks at the top, in beautiful gardens. You can walk up or use a funicular. Very pleasant when not too busy, and the air is not so polluted.

The view at the top is definitely worth the climb of El Cerro de Santa Lucía! Loved the architecture and greenery amidst a bustling city.

Access by the finicular, don’t try to walk up. Go early to avoide line ups then when you are at the top just relax, stroll and enjoy.

A nice walk up the hill affording great views of the city. However, please note that the very top does not have a lot of space so ascend early. Also soe of the steps are in need of repair, so watch your step.

If it is the dry season, the pollution levels with spoiled the views. When I visited Santiado, it was really bad in that respect. The area is a nice walk and it is worth to spend some time there. I

The Cerro Santa Lucia is a great place to appreciate the scenary of downtown Santiago from a high point. It is another option (closer/faster) than walk up the San Cristobal.
