This is a much smaller hill than San Cristobal, but I enjoyed visiting it more. It's a small park where you can spend under an hour exploring, but I think it's totally worth it. It's very well maintained, it's got lots of interesting features, and its peak is still tall enough to get some nice shots of the city. The Neptune fountain is very nice, and I ended up buying some great souvenirs at the artist's market (and I'm not even a souvenir person!)

When you're walking around exploring the centre of Santiago de Chile, it is well worth stopping into this park for a look around. It looks smaller on the map than it actually is, for it actually takes up quite a lot of vertical space being that the majority of the park is up a hill.
It was a hot day, and after entering from the city centre side it was pleasant walking through the trees to occasionally get sprayed by the sprinklers of the roadside. The climb up is steep but rewarding, particularly when you reach the stairs up to the central fort-like structure.
It's easily worth taking an hour or two to explore the park at your own pace, and relaxing on the flatter grass section on your way out. However, one thing that does come to mind, is the lack of refreshment options available. The only ways to get a drink are from one or two vendors at an enormous markup price, so definitely think to bring your own before attempting the climb, especially as it gets pretty hot.

Cerritos Santa Lucia offers a pleasant walk in a well maintained garden park. The views of the city and surrounding mountains is fantastic from the castle on top of the hill. Try to get there when the smog is not too bad, either early in the morning or after a rainstorm.

Gorgeous to tour. It is free for entry and you can spend as much time as you would like. Lots of scenery and foliage to see. The stars to reach the summit of the hill are extremely steep and small, so definitely proceed with caution. Good view of la cordillera.

Enjoyed visiting this park. Lots of steps but they were spread out with walking in between, making it quite doable for this senior couple. The views at the top were great as were those at in between points. Lots of friendly people there as well. Two things to note: several drink and snack stands throughout but only accept local currency so be prepared (we had just arrived and weren't). Also the park closes about 8pm and you can only leave by one entrance which was opposite to where we entered. A bit of a walk back to hotel, but we managed ok with a map.

If you want to take an enjoyable walk through an urban park in downtown Santiago, consider this one. Pretty remarkable statues, fountains, and vistas to experience. I enjoyed the view from the top, looking out over the city to snow capped mountains.

We dropped in here on the morning of our departure, and were very pleased we'd made the effort. Ther are lots of stairs, so it's not mobility restricted friendly, but we were well rewarded with great views over the city and the castle was great to see. Also, Neptune's terrace at the end of the park is also impressive.

In the center of the city, a small park on hill. For a city that is lacking many attractions this is one of the few. It is a nice place to view the city and the Andes.you need less than an hour and you cover every spot.

This small portress and grounds have a beautiful Neptune fountain, and a great view from the top of the heart of Santiago. There are nice walking paths and there are several important historical items. When you walk in you put your name down and walk up the stairs to the fountain area. If you're near the Santa Lucia subway station, STOP in and savor this place.

Huelen Hill is a small hill in the center of Santiago. The hill is the remains of a volcano, thought to be over 15 million years old. The hill comprises of a large park adorned with facades, stairways and fountains. Go to the top of the hill for great views over the city, popular with tourists. The climb to the top is not too difficult if you are young and fit, however, someone older or physical challenged , may struggled with the accent; the steps are stone and uneven. We cheated and took a taxi, but were still able to appreciate the views and the area.

Boa tarde.

A igreja e o santuário é tranquilo.

Suerte! :D
