    Great Views, Watch Your Step
Great view of the city. The view from the terrace closest to the top is the best view in my opinion, as the top is crowded and the tallest building is hidden by a tree (which they seemed to be chopping down when I visited, so that may not be the case anymore. The stairs are worn and slippery, so be careful on the way down and use the handrail.

    Beautiful and historic
This small hill is the historic center of Santiago and is a restful green space in the city center. There are old buildings and monuments and it did not seem crowded at all. highly recommend a visit - we went twice.

    Worth the walk.
This is a beautiful site. The walk up the hill is manageable, and the views are very nice. Wear walking shoes and don't forget to sunscreen. We went early in the morning before the heat of the day. They warn you of possible pickpockets.

    Must See!
I jogged/walked/hiked multiple parks when I came here so had a running pack full of water. This park is mostly climbing - stairs and some cobblestone and some concrete. The stairs are not for someone w balance concerns as uneven and one small railing. Lovely park with great views. Tiolets were locked when I was there and no water available. Bring your own.

    Nice views and gardens
Lovely park with many places to rest and explore. Beware the steps are uneven and coated with sand so use the handrails and ascent/descend slowly. The view at the top is wonderful. There were two concession trucks in the park when we visited and there was only one entrance off of Merced Street open with a guard requiring you to sign in. Didn’t see any restrooms.

    Nice place to visit
Nice place to see, in front of one of the stops of the touristic bus, not far from the city center. Historical site in Santiago, Nice building and beautiful view from the top. The walk is quite steep sometimes, narrow steps with handrails. Recommended

Beautiful view of many kinds of love
Cerro Santa Lucia is the most beautiful and interesting city park we have ever experienced. The mirador at the top of the park alone is worth all the many crooked steps. You get a phenomenal overview of the surrounding city, and the reflections of the trees in the glittering skyscrapers are worth many photos. Note that the park consists of many levels, each with its attractions, so it's worth moving around the entire fine little hill. In several places in the park, love unfolded so beautifully. We saw both men and women - and men and men - kissing passionately and completely undisturbed. Lovely to experience such great tolerance here in South America.

    Great views
Nice spot to walk about and get some great views of the city. Some spits afford vistas of old snd new architecture, side by side. Old seems to be shorter and bigger individual apartments whereas the new structures are taller with smaller units. Pleasant. Worth a visit.

    Historical & Iconic Park!
Explored this historical Park whilst visiting Santiago. It is very big, well maintained and filled with statutes, some old buildings etc. There are some steep steps to climb if you want to get to the top and have a panoramic view of the city and can see the Andes Mountains in the distance on a clear day! In the beautiful Park, there is also a big statue of the founder of Santiago in the garden. There are seats scattered all around the park should you wish to take a rest whilst exploring and you would need comfortable shoes!

    A fabulous Santiago photo opp
We enjoyed visiting this park, where at the top of the hill a pleasant view of Santiago can be found. For those visiting on a budget this will also help to forgo the need to visit the paid-for skyscraper viewing deck, which, if I recall, was not triflingly cheap. Better still, in my view, was the fountain area and large Chilean flag at the bottom of the park — we really enjoyed the colours and architecture; it made for a beautiful spot to take some photos.

We dropped in here on the morning of our departure, and were very pleased we'd made the effort. Ther are lots of stairs, so it's not mobility restricted friendly, but we were well rewarded with great views over the city and the castle was great to see. Also, Neptune's terrace at the end of the park is also impressive.

Medium sized park on a steep hill in the center of city, was surprised by how large it was in the city. Some walk paths and flights of stairs are uneven and steep, but reaching the top is so worthwhile. Plan enough time to explore. I suggest go in late afternoon to explore 90 minutes before sunset and then head to the top for sunset views.

Huelen Hill is a small hill in the center of Santiago. The hill is the remains of a volcano, thought to be over 15 million years old. The hill comprises of a large park adorned with facades, stairways and fountains. Go to the top of the hill for great views over the city, popular with tourists. The climb to the top is not too difficult if you are young and fit, however, someone older or physical challenged , may struggled with the accent; the steps are stone and uneven. We cheated and took a taxi, but were still able to appreciate the views and the area.

Cerritos Santa Lucia offers a pleasant walk in a well maintained garden park. The views of the city and surrounding mountains is fantastic from the castle on top of the hill. Try to get there when the smog is not too bad, either early in the morning or after a rainstorm.

Gorgeous to tour. It is free for entry and you can spend as much time as you would like. Lots of scenery and foliage to see. The stars to reach the summit of the hill are extremely steep and small, so definitely proceed with caution. Good view of la cordillera.

This is a nice park / garden in the centre of the tourist area of Santiago. It's steep in places but the top gives a good view of the inner city. If you want an hour away from the busy city this is a good option.
