MacKenna visited Europe and came back to South America to create an Mini Edinburgh castle on this steep hill plus this Italian fountain, the climb is very pleasant provided with wonderful view of the city...and it was a surprise that Charles Dickens climb the same...More

I was there for some hours with a local, I enjoyed the facade and walking around it, nice view on top, there some city camera you can see the city in details.

A nice hilly park to walk around when already in the central part of town. Not a must see or a reason to come to Santiago, but a nice way to spend an hour or two on a warm day.

From the avenue, you see an old mansion, a little lake at the entrance. And as you get in and n, you see a cute fountain. And you go up and up, and see rocks and architecture and another view of the city of Santiago....More

Cerro Santa Lúcia is an amazing place to visit. There are many beatiful statues, interesting old buildings (church, castle etc), nice tracks to walk around and an amazing view of Santiago.

Beautiful park in a great location. Light hiking but can be driven to top if you preferre. Some stone steps. Great views at the top. A very nice place to take a picnic.
