Me and my friend booked this trip trough their website. Quick respons, and got picked up at our Hotel the next morning. Driving tru Santiago city and out to Cayon del Maipo for some rafting in the Maipo River. On the road Ignazio was telling us history about Santiago and showing us old photos, and the areas we were passing on our way. The rafting at Ruta Vertical Rafting was fun and exciting. With professional guides on the boats. After the rafting we had lunch with local food, and continued further up Cayon del Maipo to a waterfall and a nice scenery over the valley. On our way back to Santiago, we hiked up a hill to get the view over the city, and to see the sunset. Perfect ending on our day! After the sunset we got dropped off at our Hotel. He also set us up on a day trip going to Valparaiso. Where a guide met us at the bus station, and show us around this historical city, worth visiting. I recommend City Trekking Guide for personalized tours, with local guides, with a lot knowledge :)

I had one day to experience Santiago, and chose City Trekking to help introduce me to this city. The pre-trip communications with Sven couldn't have been better. He was always quick to reply to my questions, via whatsapp or email. Ignacio was a great guide, and showed me how Santiago, and Chile, has been affected by the recent protests. The visible damage caused by the protests served as evidence to their impact on daily life. Santiago, and the overall history of Chile, is worth exploring, and if you only have a day to experience it, I highly recommend the full or half day city tour.

My name is Steven, I was visiting South America, for the first time, and the first country I would be visiting was Santiago. My tour guide was Ignacio he came to pick me up at the hotel airport for my half day tour. He took me to all the great high lights of what Santiago had to offer. Our tour started with a drive into the city center where Ignacio took me to the local fruit and vegetable markets and afterwards to the local fish market. It was definitely a high light of the tour. Afterwards we drove around different parts of Santiago where he should me drawings/art work on the walls they were amazing. Then we took a trolley ride up a well big hill where at the top had stunning views of the Santiago skyline. Definitely a wonderful experience. Afterwards we drank some traditional Chile drink it was peach tea with caramel and wheat if I’m not mistaken on it. Afterwards we down the trolley tram and then proceed to walk to the city center and the palace and where the president works in the city of Santiago. I have to say if your in Santiago for one day do this tour, because you’ll see so much in one day. Even though my tour was only for 5 hours, Ignacio was great he took me around for additional hour more on my tour. Special Thanks Ignacio for the great day!
