Upscape designed a very personal and exciting tour for us in Argentina and Chile. This was our fourth trip to these countries and we had already seen a lot of the normal tourist areas. We wanted something different and unusual to do. Upscape was up to the challenge and designed a 2 week tour that was unlike any previous trip... More

We had a wonderful private bicycle tour through the Casablanca Valley with Upscape. Two guides picked us up at our hotel in Santiago, drove us to Emiliana Winery in Casablanca. From there we biked about 12 miles to Kingston Family Vineyards, with one guide on bicycle with us and another following behind in the truck. After the second tasting and... More

Ten years ago while visiting South America I found Santiago Adventures since they had a US telephone number. The husband & wife team of Brian Pearson and Sira Berté were, I believe, Peace Corp members who stayed in Chile after their service. Brian took me around the Chilean wine country while I introduced him to many of its vineyard owners.... More

Pablo and Carolina provided a wonderful/flexible tour that met our needs perfectly. During our tours of Casablanca and Colchagua Valleys Pablo provided a meaningful narrative of Chilean life, economics, heritage and agriculture. Hearing it from a native's point of view helped us better understand what Chile is really like. The wineries that we visited were top tier and beautiful. Particularly... More

Recently got back from a fantastic trip to Chile and Argentina put together by Upscape. We stayed at wonderful hotels in Santiago and Santa Cruz, Chile. Our guide in Chile, Manuel Garcia, was top notch. An expert on the history, the botany, the wine, etc, etc. He was a font of all knowledge about Chile and the cities (Santiago, Valparisio... More

My husband and I loved our wine tour with Santiago Adventures. We visited 6 wineries all recommended by the staff (the very best wineries of Chile nowadays!). The planned itinerary and hotels were great, the driver was excellent and we only have good memories! We absolute recommend their service!

We spent five days with Carolina and Andres, our tour guide and our driver. We did a walking tour of Santiago. We visited the Museum of Pre-Colombian Art. We did a walking tour of Valparaiso, eating at Pacifico, overlooking the harbor and exploring neighborhoods with interesting art and architecture. We spent three days in wine country, staying at the wonderful... More

We traveled in Chile for 2 weeks, all of which I booked through Santiago Adventures after contacting and getting quotes and info from other agencies and doing lots of research. Let me preface the review by saying we are a couple, ages 69 and 72, reasonably fit, no mobility problems, with an interest in photography as a hobby only. We... More

We're a couple in our 40s traveling with my parents in their 60s, and none of us have ever done a tour before. But we knew we wanted to taste wine and didn't want to have to drive. Well...the four of us booked a private tour that included a city tour of Santiago, a trip to Valparaiso, wine tasting (2... More

My wife and I did an Andes day hike, which includes a moderately strenuous 4-5 hour hike followed by a short drive to a natural hot springs, and had a terrific experience. The day trip is very well-designed, with a scenic two-hour drive out of the city followed by a rewarding hike on a well-developed trail, with moderate altitude gain... More
