We had flawless service going into the city. The shuttle bus driver was friendly and professional as we bought our tix from him and the drive into the city was quick and comfortable too. We paid 1800 CLP per person (cash). There’s a Santander ATM in the main arrivals part of SCL airport btw. Look for the bright red lettering. We got off the bus at Los Héroes which is impossible to screw up because it’s the last stop into the city. The ride was about 25-30 minutes at 9pm on a weekday btw. Superb, reliable service, We would highly recommend it.

At the airport, the centropuerto bus stop is pretty clearly sign posted, and if you buy your ticket in advance, the process of getting to a metro station is smooth enough. As others have mentioned, you’re expected to bring your luggage on with you, so not recommended for those with big bags - the driver does not allow extra time at stops in recognition of your load! On the way back though, only los Héroes has decent directions. The other stops are only listed by their metro station, each of which have 8 or more bus stops attached in various directions and no signs to show which the centropuerto bus will stop at. Also, there was a protest this evening and the los Héroes stop was out of action, and there was no warning of this by the bus company so I wasted a lot of time going there only to have to head to Estación central. In the end, I gave up and got a taxi back to the airport for 12,000. Not ideal, but I spent ~45 minutes trying to find a centropuerto bus to catch with no luck.

Saludos!

Took this bus from Santiago airport to the city. The staff didn't use luggage storage space in the bus, packing a pile of suit cases and backpacks in front of the bus, completely blocked our stuff. On the first stop the bus pulled over too fast and all baggage just scattered over the bus. No one reacted. We had to dig out our backpacks by ourselves. That was super stupid. Just to note, we informed bus staff that we go out on the first stop (Barrancas). Never use this buses, guys!

Hello Oleg, we are sorry to here that about our service, because we have procedures for the transfer of luggage. Me make hundreds of departures daily, so we hope that the injury of an official in this case does not tarnish the work of hundreds of people who every day move to or from the airport delivering a good service. Best Regards,

THE BEST - Cheapest way to reach Santiago Airport - Santiago Downtown, this stop is LOS HEROES the last stop! I took it totally 4 times and the trip is around 30 minutes from/to airport!Once in los heroes you can get metro or take 15-20 minutes to plazas de armas ! Ticket is 2,43 one way or 4,32 euro round trip!you can buy ticket on the bus or at airport arrival where the kiosk is open h24 and you can even buy with credit card!it was perfect !!
