Going inside was also peaceful. It is also a good place to exercise outside of the temple and you can also learn more about the Baha'i culture.Visited November 2023Traveled with friendsWritten April 11, 2024

Designed by Architect Siamak Hariri, this 98-foot circular building comprises of nine arched "sails" made from marble and cast glass; it was opened in 2016. On a smog-free day, from its gardens and picnic tables, there is a fantastic panoramic view of the city below. The view of the city is beautiful as this id on a hill. It is in Peñalolen and you can get there by bus and a 35 minute walk. Free entrance but be respectful of the silence and not taking photos inside.Visited March 2024Traveled as a coupleWritten May 14, 2024

A quiet place, ideal for meditating due to its silence. From there there is a viewpoint to Santiago. I was lucky enough to see a loica in a tree. I do not recommend going with children, because it is a place to pray, meditate, gather and the little ones want to play and run. The architecture is interesting with the marble of its construction. There is a bookstore to learn about the cult that is practiced but all religions are welcome.

The temple has a surreal energy where peace and silence prevail. The view of the Andes and the city of Santiago is also one of the attractions. Amei! When entering the temple photos are not allowed and silence is recommended. We also received a book of daily prayers. I recommend super!

The Bahá'í Temple in Chile, situated near Santiago, is a stunning example of architecture and spirituality. Designed by Siamak Hariri, its unique structure of nine marble and glass "petals" creates a bright and welcoming space. During the day, natural light illuminates the interior, while at night, the temple glows softly against the Andes mountains.
The temple promotes unity and inclusion, reflected in the absence of religious icons and the circular arrangement of the benches. The surrounding gardens, with their trails and green areas, offer an environment of serenity and contemplation.

Exuberant, modern architecture and integration with nature. I used the metro + Uber (3,679 CLP) to get to the top and, to get back, I took a taxi that was in the parking lot, which charged me 1,000 CLP to the gate and wanted to charge me 17,000 to the metro, which I immediately refused. From the gate I ordered an Uber which cost me 2,794 CLP to the metro.

Architecturally wonderful structure, run by a group of volunteers/religious who seem to be motivated by the best intentions. At times not too hot, the place lends itself to short meditations. Strategic location (balcony on Santiago) and 'world apart' from the reference urban area

A place of peace and tranquility nestled in the pre-range. The amazing landscapes and architecture of the temple is just wonderful. Public transport (micro or bus) can be reached from the metro stations Greece and Plaza Egaña. The mic arrives one street before the main entrance, then you can walk up to the temple, it is about 20 minutes walking, it is a gentle slope and the landscape is worth it.

The Bahai temple is beautiful for its sumptuousness, a beautiful place! I loved visiting, the walk to the temple is a moment of reflection. The place is quite far from the city. We took a subway to Greece station and from there an Uber. The tip is to pay attention to opening hours because when we arrived at the place access was closed. It is also important to assess whether you will prefer to take the 40-minute journey to the reception location (not yet the time itself) on foot or by car. The view there is magnificent! Do not walk around the area, it is a very dangerous place.

An incredible place! One of the places I liked most in Santiago. Unfortunately I went on a very cloudy day, we could only see the temple up close, on the third step of the stairs it already disappeared. It is very worth visiting, a place of connection and prayer. When I went, there was a beautiful choir performing. I would definitely come back!
Note: it was very difficult to get an Uber on the way back, we had to walk down to the entrance of the condominium where the temple is located and it still took a long time, it is very far from the center.

Written May 27, 2019

Qto fica a corrida??
Written May 12, 2019
