Patricio took us on a day tour to Valpariaso and Vina del Mar from Santiago. He was knowledgable and charming, giving us a great day out. We were kept informed in advance of our pick up time and got great value for money

Amazing tour with truly wonderful guides!!!! Ganzo y Leo were incredibly kind, charismatic and knowledgeable hosts, giving us tons of valuable information on Chile, providing a very comfortable safe and fun experience. They led us on an extremely colorful tour through Valparaiso, seeing the jewels of the city, eating delicious food, seeing gorgeous views, wonderful beach time in Vina Del Mar, even providing A very special surprise wildlife viewing… they even accommodated our last minute changed drop off address.
100% recommend if you are visiting Chile!!!!

This was everything as promised, and more. The entertainment was wonderful! Great dancers. Our driver was the best!. During the drive to the venue, he was very informative about the neighborhoods and history of Santiago. Afterwards, he drove us to the top of a hillside to show us the amazing view of the city at night. I would recommend this tour!

I booked the Tour Valparaíso + Viña del Mar + Casablanca Valley Full Day Valparaíso and Viña del Mar 06:00. The description said the tour would have a maximum of 17 guests. The bus had seats for 25. There were 26 people on the bus as we picked up more people at our first stop in Rio Tinto. I was squashed into the back corner on the back seat of the bus as the extra people were asked to get into the back seat. The back seat had metal bars on each side which made it impossible to fit 5 people across and which meant my legs and back and hips became extremely painful and developed pins and needles during the 40 minute journey from Rio Tinto to Valparaiso. I felt squashed and like I couldn’t breathe deeply and it made me feel extremely panicky. I messaged the tour guide and company en route to ask if they could do something. I didn’t get an immediate reply. When we arrived at Valparaiso the tour guide said I could have his seat in the front of the bus. However I believed this would be dangerous as he would have to stand while the bus driver was driving or sit where I was sitting and this would mean the other four people squashed back there would continue to be uncomfortable. Everyone in the back was complaining. I asked if they had another bus in the area which might have more space. The tour guide contacted the other bus but didn’t get an answer. So I made what I felt was the safest decision at the time to leave the group and try to find an alternative route back to Santiago. About an hour later I received a message from the tour company by WhatsApp asking if I was “enjoying my trip”. I (once again) explained the situation to them. They were argumentative and unhelpful and contested my account. They offered twice to refund my fee for the tour which I asked them to do. They then said they wouldn’t be able to refund me until they had undertaken an investigation and spoken with the other tourists on the bus. I managed to find a public bus back to Santiago but my day was obviously completely ruined by the agressive response of the tour operator and I have back and hip pain caused by the discomfort of the trip. The tour guide was as helpful as he could be under the circumstances. But the company were unhelpful and disagreeable and I’m uncertain whether they will refund my money. I am an archaeologist and I have done remote area fieldwork in many countries of the world, and in other parts of South America. I’m not averse to the discomfort of travel. I don’t consider myself to be a snowflake. But I didn’t expect to pay £50 to be left feeling so uncomfortable and to be treated so poorly. My 4000 peso bus trip back to Santiago (less than £4) was infinitely superior and way more comfortable.

GetYourGuide for Santiago private city tour with optional Lunch and Winery by MTO Tour Chile
On November 30, 2023 I ordered Santiago city tour. Originally, We wanted tour to take place on December 25 at 3 pm, but received email from GetYourGuide stating that they could do it on the December 24 at 10 am. The actual tour provider was by MTO Tour Chile. I confirmed this date and time change and requested new written confirmation. Instead, they send me WhatsApp message stating that it was internally done and they repeated this in the following correspondence. The phone number provided by the company did not work and GetYourGuide stated that is could be used for messages only.
After receiving email from the company stating that my credit card was charged a day prior to our tour I felt reassured that everything is legitimate. Unfortunately, I was wrong. On the day of the tour no one showed up on time and after our repeated messages we received apology about 50 min later and message that someone will contact us shortly. No one did. We requested immediate refund and did not hear from the company yet. Fortunately, our Le Meridian hotel was on the route of the route of the Turistik hop on bus and we did not waste the rest of the day by missing all thing we planned for short couple days stay in Santiago.

Great tour to get out and quickly see the cities outside Santiago. This is a quick tour so keep that in mind it is not meant to be a tour to enjoy the day in one area etc. group size if about 25 people. You stop at a small rest stop on the way out and back for coffee/bathroom etc and spend a couple hours walking around Valparaiso and then take some amazing photos of all the art. Then you get in the bus and continue to Viña Del Mar for an hour and a half lunch time and then leave. So it is quick, but also a 10-12 hour day. Because of the 25 people, you could have 125+ stop in the morning (for me resulting in a pick up at 645am but not starting the drive there until 820am)…. But hit us a good, affordable way to get out of the city for the day and view new things! Tour guide Gonzalo is awesome with great music, happy vibes and helpful knowledge about the history and area!

We had a wonderful day! Our guide Joaquim was very attentive, always offering us tips on the city's attractions, typical foods... We love Pablo Neruda's house in Isla Negra! It was inspiring to know about their art, culture, their passionate way of life! Unmissable!! It was a perfect, personalized tour, in which we visited our time, delicious lunch, with a beautiful view, handicrafts that represent the culture and tradition in Pomaire. I recommend!

Amazing trip to Valparaíso y Viña del Mar. The guides have picked us up on time and were very sympathetic the whole time, both the guide and the drivers. The guide has also told us many stories about the sites we've visited. At the end, the bus driver took us for a very special spot at the Viña beach. But I won't tell you so I don't spoil the fun.

This tour is the perfect choice for those who want to get in touch with nature and see the most beautiful landscapes!! I took the best shots in my life! And it's an unique oportunity to get so close to the Andes mountains.
All of this only was possible thank to the work of our amazing guide NANO, from MTO Tour Operator, who picked us up on time and was very professional, showing long experience in the area and giving us the confidence to realize our dream to finally know Cajón del Maipo, with highlighs for the reservatoire Embalse el Yeso. Fantastic tour, highly recommended!

My favourite part was the walking tour of Valparaíso! We got to see so many beautiful murals and staircases and also views over the city looking towards the ocean. I also really liked that our guide Valentina went out of her way to let us try going down one of the funiculars (ascensors) which are particularly unique to Valparaíso!

We booked the ConchaYToro Premium tour 02 Jan and an accident with your pickup vehicle delayed our pickup. We finally arrived at Vineyard and were booked on "Standard Tour" @ 11:40.
