Only really worth visiting as a short “extra” as you travel between Osorno volcano and Saltos del Petrohue.
They are what they say they are, a small green pond, only 500m from the car park.
You can walk a little further for a viewing platform of the main lake, which is “ok” but many other areas around the lake are at least as attractive if not better.
BUT it is thankfully FREE so you do get your monies worth. :)

as you walk along the path to the lagoon you soon find it-it's somewhat photogenic, as you continue walking you then end up @ a 'regular' blue lake from which the lagoon springs [I assume]

The place is awesome. There is still time to make sure that pollution stays away from this place. There still is time. Act now

Great option for people that dont want to hike too much.
It is easy to stop and it has a parking lot and it is wheel chair friendly :)

A beautiful trek, nearly 8 miles round trip, well marked and with several stopover options, including two waterfalls and two gorgeous lakes before arriving at Laguna Verde. The path is very diverse, mainly through forest, yet open to many long distance viewpoints. A great way to spend a day!

This is a beautiful, peaceful place to stop at if you have time. Not a must-see but definitely pretty and serene. You can walk along the path to the lagoon which is a pretty color but what is worth it is walking out to the lake with a gazebo and a view of the volcanoes and lakes in the background.

Do not go out of your way to get here. It is a just a pond.
The real attraction here is to walk to the gazebo they have at the end of one of the trails and get a view of the lake.

Walking the path at Laguna verde was a totally refreshing thing to do. I have enjoyed that visit of the Laguna Verde very much. Who does not like to walk in the nature especially when there is almost no mosquitos. I did some nice photos around there and took the time to stop by a coffee shop nearby to have coffee and desert. The day was sunny and nice, not too hot and not too fresh . . . perfect ! It is a great place to go in couple but a lot of people bring their children so they can swim a little in the laguna or (if my memory is right there were pools on the site) in the pools that are not too far from there. So if you happen to be in the Puerto Varas area I would manage to go at the Laguna Verde if I were you. A fun day !
