While Jaime is of German stock, he was born in Chile and is fluent in several languages: Spanish, English, Portuguese, and Hebrew. For several years he lived, worked and traveled extensively in the Middle East and Europe. After returning to his native Chile, Jamie joined the travel business and worked as a tour leader for several travel agencies. The tours offered by these agencies were usually for large groups and had tough schedules with little or no flexibility. Jaime wished to improve on this experience and pass on his love of his own country to others. He believed that his university education and his extensive experience in the industry would enable him to create and run his own agency that would be small and flexible and would consequently provide a better value to the touring public. He now offers customized tours to the independent traveler as well as to vacationers on cruise ships arriving at the port of Puerto Montt. His service enables the discerning traveler to make the most of a visit, regardless of the limited amount of time available or special interests to be pursued.“So, let me take care of the details while you enjoy the beauty of southern Chile. We have booked excursions around South America with Patagoniashorex on numerous occasions over the past years and have always been pleased. Without fail, Jaimie replies to requests within a few hours and is always able to accommodate our request for a tour. He provides good options and once a tour agreed upon, he sends a contract and system to pay as well as contact numbers for the local tour guide. In addition, he provides his 24 hour number so we can be relaxed at all times.On each occasion, the tour buses /vans have been in good condition, clean and comfortable and drivers have been efficient ,safe and helpful.in each country, the tour guides were excellent with good communication and local knowledge. We travel as small groups 6 x20 people and will not hesitate to call Jaime to plan excursions for our next South America cruise.

Thank for tour to Valdes Peninsula. It was perfect.We met guide Half hour early and were the first bus out of the lot and first at all the sites, so never any congestion.
Diego was very visible and organized.Our driver Sebastian did a Great job driving on all the gravel roads with hundreds of animals to watch out for.He was so helpful at all our stops.
Nani, our tour guide was excellent, well spoken, very clear with instructions, lots of energy and a contagious enthusiasm.She had lots of info—pictures etc. to describe what we were seeing. She was the best!
The box lunch was great.
A fantastic excursion.
Thanks to Jaime for organizing for us.Over the years, We have always contacted Jaime to arrange our excursions and he has provided trips for us throughout South America . Without fail, he always responds to emails within hours, is very positive, quickly makes a suggestion to meet our wishes and is impeccable with arranging the details,tour guides,transportation and payment.

It was amazing. It was my first time in South America. Jaime did Everything. The private tours had excellent guides And drivers. He started in Buenos Aires. His guides were able to tailor every trip to our personal needs at Every stop. One guide even helped my husband hike on a trail. Above and beyond. Puerto Mont , Patagonia, 4 other stops and Santiago Chile. Jaime provided All drivers from airports. Call him and Just Pack! His prices were half of the cost on the tours on the ship and they were all private.

In 2018/ I had the pleasure of joining Jaimie and his team on a tour from Lima to Machu Picchu, I was on a cruise from New York to Sydney with a girlfriend, Jaimie picked us up from the ship and we had the most amazing 4 days.Every detail was arranged with precision, he made sure we were safe at all times,we had very good accommodation and meals ,the guides were friendly and very knowledgeable. Macchu Picchu was always on my bucket list so I was very grateful to be able to experience this adventure with a well organised experienced team. There was never any doubt that we would not get back on the ship in time even though it was 4 days later and at another port.

For our first visit to Chile (and Puerto Montt), we couldn't have asked for a better experience. Jaime treated us like distant relatives who came to visit. We enjoyed everything about the tour he gave us including a lunch stop at a delightful local restaurant we would have never found on our own.

Our guides & driver were great we spent time at the Magic Water Circuit after exploring the various fountains our guide got us a good position to watch the light show. We were then driven to Huaca Pucllana restaurant were we had traditional Pisco Sours accompanied by a delicious Peruvian meal while overlooking the architectural site. Excellent tour great value organised by a fellow cruise ship passenger. would highly reckoned Patagonia Shorex

Our tour was actually January and February 2020. We had 7 days. Five in Peru and two in Chile. The owner of the company travelled with us the whole way and we visited sites and places he had been to before, many of them very unique and suited to our tastes. He used local guides with vast knowledge of their subject matter. He went out of his way to help one of our group who had issues with travel and was very attentive and concerned that we all were healthy and able to see what we wanted to. The places we saw, the people we met and the whole experience was first rate.

I had to cancel my trip to Machu Picchu 3 months before going and was promised a full refund. After 18 months all I've had is excuses followed by silence. I don't believe you can trust the promises this company gives.

Jaime was a fantastic guide who was a pleasure to spend a few days with. He arranged for us a comprehensive tour of Santiago and Puerto Varas, and was a fantastic presence the entire time. I cannot thank him enough for his willingness to engage with the group and his overall caring personality. Every day seemed to be better than the last as the itinerary was second to none. I would recommend Jaime to anyone travelling to the area!

Jamie was absoutly the most organized and personal tour agent we have ever had. He met us at the airport in Lima and left us at the cruise port in San Antonio, Chile at the end our tour. Every day was completely organized, each flight was seamless to us, we would arrive at the airport, be given our boarding pass and be led to the front of the line for boarding. The hotels were all perfect in every detail. Our local tour guides were the best we have every had. I am only sorry that we cannot take Jamie with all over the world and use him to take care of all the details. I cannot recommend him enough to anyone who is travelling in his part of South America.
